Does this product support audio?

Since it involves DVI, I'm afraid not. HDMI on the other hand will support audio and video. I recommend getting a HDMI cable not HDMI to DVI. Thank you for your question.

Are they DVI-D standard connectors?

The DVI-D male connector on the cable properly connects to the female recepticle on the monitor. My monitor has no speakers so i chose this cable rather than hdmi to hdmi male connectors which my monitor supports. There is no benefit of one cable over the other unless you intend to use speakers built into the monitor. When you say "standard" , I haven't checked pinout but it works so that is all that mattered to me.
