Does this work with Windows 7 Home 64-bit and Windows 7 Pro 64-bit?

It does not matter what the operating system is. This device makes it where you can hook up 2 computers to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This particular model is ready for only USB keyboard and mouse.....no ps/2 ports.

I need to connect Samsung P2770FH LCD (dvi) monitor on Windows 8 PC to new Mac Book Pro. I use USB mouse and keyboard for PC. Will this switch work?

I cannot answer this question. I don't use Apple products and I'm not familiar enough with their products to know.
