Can I use this in an Asus P8Z68-V Pro? I'd like to upgrade to DDR4. If not want can I use?

The Z68 is a DDR3 motherboard, you can't use DDR4 RAM in a DDR3 motherboard, so the only way to upgrade to DDR4 is to upgrade your motherboard and CPU. If the only thing you want to upgrade is the RAM, it's probably not worth it. There's not a huge difference between DDR3 and DDR4 in terms of performance.

Question 3

Would this set be compatible with an ADATA XPG Z1 2400 8GB stick? Would 3 8GB sticks be overkill? Sorry, I'm new to this.

first check the timing of your ram not just the displayed speed shown as 2400.
make sure it has the timing: 14-16-16-31 for best compatibility and you would have to set different voltages.  then looking at the next question it depends on what you do. if you have a lot of programs opened at the same time yes, but its better to use 2 sticks of ram since duel channel gives you approximately 10% better performance. so it's up to you do you prefer more volume or better performance, in other words more horse power or a bigger gas tank. lastly, 16 gb's is more than enough for a casual user or a gamer, unless you stream your game play via twitch.

will this work on h110m pro-d motherboard?

This RAM will run on h110m pro-d, however you have to understand that the motherboard's memory standard clock speed is 2133MHz, and the RAM's standard clock speed is 2400 MHz, so you may go into the BIOS and change the memory clock setting, or enjoy as is. There are no difference in experience when it comes to memory clock speed, unless you are using memory intensive applications or softwares (video editing, etc.) If this is the case, you may want to purchase is larger motherboard that supports more cards than just 2. I bought these and paired them with an ASRock pro4 and one ended up doa so im not sure what I should get to pair with it to get back to 16. Would any work as long as its the same speed or does cas latency matter?

If you have already confirmed this, but I believe ASRock Pro4 accepts DDR3, and this memory is DDR4, so I don't think the two is compatible. They both must match, either pairing a DDR3 accepting motherboard to a DD43 memory, or DDR4 accepting motherboard to DDR4 memory. as long as you are getting the correct memory standard (DDR3 or DDR4), then size or cas latency does not matter.

Will this work with ASRock Z170 Pro4 LGA 1151? The memory is not on the support list.

I can't confirm that specific MOBO, but it works fine for me and it wasn't listed on my MOBO either. You will have to enable XMP in BIOS to get the OC speed to run (which is probably the reason it does not show up, being OC'd

This memory can be used with AMD systems, but the XMP 2.0 profile will likely fail with ZEN 1 systems (1300, 1600) because they are very picky about their timings. This means without manual overclocking you would be running 2133 on these systems, which is definitely not ideal for Ryzen. First make sure someone else has used these "trouble free "at 2400 in a system that is identical to you own.
