Beast of a fan
Pros: Quiet, massive, looks good and cools well.
Cons: It is a bear to install.
Overall Review: Considered just putting the stock fan on but I'm glad I didn't. The installation of this fan tests your patience but it's well worth it.
Great monitor, may get a second
Pros: Modern appearance, great value.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I have this 20" to complement my 21.5" of the same model. Since I do alot of Corel Draw and other vector drawing programs, it's nice to have one monitor for the artboard alone and then the tools on the other monitor. I am really considering a second one of these so that I can have Firefox displayed at all times also.
Work of art
Pros: Well just like everyone else said, 8 SATAs, USB 3.0.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: My favorite part is how tough it looks through the plexi. The UEFI is awesome too as well as the bios splash screen.
Update
Pros: Solidly built
Cons: None.
Overall Review: After having this case for about a month, I considered swapping this case out with a more subtle looking one. I purchased the Thermaltake V3 AMD case from Newegg. As I started to move parts from one case to the other, I realized just how superior the Cougar is to the Thermaltake V3. From the drive bays to the front panel, the Cougar wins easily. If I would have bought the Thermallake V3 initially, I would never have known but I literally stopped changing over even before I had my first drive swapped. Not bashing the V3, it's a fantastic looking case but the craftmanship of the Cougar is impressive.
Why is the design backlit in blue?
Pros: Good feel to the keystrokes, love the multimedia keys. Comes with key puller as well as original black keys.
Cons: Definitely not an everyday typing keyboard. The backspace is only one key wide and the orange WASR keys are cool looking but are rubbery and oversized so they snag your fingers as you go over them causing errors.
Overall Review: I replaced this with the Mad Catz V5. I could have overlooked the typing issues with this keyboard (or installed the black keys) but I'm not sure why they chose to put that wierd lion/cross looking design with a blue backlight. However, I don't feel it's fair to knock off any eggs though. Still seems to be a great keyboard for gaming.
Great screen, especially for the price
Pros: Modern styling, well priced.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I really like these model of Acer monitors (bought the 20" version also). Some people might say that looking at the screen off center and you lose picture, but those claims are exaggerated. I recommend and may buy a third.
