A very modular case that can be converted.
Pros: I turned mine into a 10 bay NAS server+VM plenty of space. I was worried about my huge Noctua 15 not fitting in but it did..
Cons: Mine came with a door that had a tiny knob broken off but Fractal sent me new door.
Overall Review: Interesting design, manufacturing and insanely well thought for noise suppression while being padded.
Crackling noise, electric, tesla like...
Pros: Cheap, inexpensive, 2 outlets, and 1 USB connector.
Cons: First day I plugged it in would start making weird noises. Not the fan but tesla coil noises (maybe short circuit), it was annoying, crackling sounds for the first 5-6 min. and after would go away. It only lasted about 2-3 weeks before it went dead. Checked fuse, was good but would not turn on anymore. Debating to buy local here @ BestB for same price minus the USB plug and be able to return same day if this happens again.
Overall Review: I RMA the item and wondering if I should get a replacement or get a better/bigger one.
I guess I was told that the CPU is really good especially at the price I got it.
Pros: Only purchase this because it was on sale. I figured let me give AMD a try..
Cons: I don't know any yet. Except some of the new security issues that came out and the last 30 days but that affects Intel and AMD.
Overall Review: I'm happy overall with the purchase.
Stop working, barely used.
Pros: Small and that's about it. Ok Price.
Cons: I've searched high and low. I cannot format the darn thing because it is write protected. There is no switch or ways to go around it. From using Windows hacks, or PNY formatting/recovery utility with no success to using *Nix LIVE CDs to force it in a different operating system.
Overall Review: I am looking into contacting the Manuf. of SP and see if it is under the 1 year warranty. Don't have the packaging nor the 2nd unit.
Best one I had. Period
Pros: I got it as a gift back 2002-2003, and it finally gave up I think about a year and half to 2 years ago... anyway it lasted more than 7-8 years of almost daily usage.
Cons: I wish it had more buttons, and the usb insert would have been a little smaller.
Overall Review: That is a small price to pay for the bigger u s b insert. I am going to purchase another 1 today, because my dynex cheap mouse gave up, after 3 mo.
Great ultra-thin laptop, but you can do better.
Pros: Ultra thin, has a solid state drive which is a plus and it is very light. It's like using a MacBook Air but in black and has windows on it. It rated about 6.x on Windows if I recall correctly.
Cons: A little expensive for an I5, most have gone down in price. For this much I should be getting a I7. Plus the price here is 1,349.99 and if you go to Best Buy they have it for $1,199, that's a 150$ savings.
Overall Review: I will wait for the zen books, or acers to come out, and wait for additional price drop. Because of AMD's new chips, these will drop in price.
