Great Budget Case, but not perfect.

DEEPCOOL TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower SGCC, Plastic, Rubber Coating Computer Case
DEEPCOOL TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower SGCC, Plastic, Rubber Coating Computer Case

Pros: - Bottom mount power supply with dust filter - Large CPU cooler cutout - Holes to route cables behind motherboard tray and enough room for those cables - Price - Plenty of room for most builds - Painted interior - No sharp corners like on most budget cases.

Cons: - Only one case fan on the front - Too many 5 1/4" drive bays - Side fans are over CPU meaning I can only use the bottom mount

Overall Review: This case has a lot of features that you won't find in other cases anywhere near this price point. I don't know of any other cases under $40 that have any way to route cables behind the motherboard or have any fan filters. There are some design choices made with this case make no sense to me. Firstly, you can only fit one case fan up front while there is easily enough room for a 360mm radiator in front of the drive bays (I would have liked to see at least two case fan mounts up front). There is also a fan mount on the back side of the drive bays, which is a bit confusing. A fan mount on the floor of the case would have also been nice. I would have also liked the fan filter to have been on the side instead of the top, since top mounted fans are best used as exhaust. Also, this case has 4 5.25" drive bays which I find it highly unlikely that someone would need that many. Lastly, the front panel IO gets in the way of the top 5.25" drive bay. Overall, this case gets a lot right and it was very easy to build my system in it. I genuinely hope DeepCool makes a second revision of this case and corrects some of the minor design faults. This case is probably the best bang for the buck case out there.

Most Critical Review

As expected for a cheap refurb laptop.

HP C Grade Laptop 2.00GHz 2GB Memory 120GB HDD 15.4" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit 6735B
HP C Grade Laptop 2.00GHz 2GB Memory 120GB HDD 15.4" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit 6735B

Pros: low price, decent specs

Cons: received with dead battery, not enough RAM

Overall Review: I am rarely away from my desktop so I don't need a laptop often, but thought I should get one just in case. This laptop is powerful enough for simple computing tasks, but not a whole lot more. I decided to add another stick of RAM to speed it up since I found I was running out of RAM rather quickly. The laptop also failed to charge, but worked off the power brick, so I took a gamble and replaced the battery and fixed the issue. I really can't complain about a complete and functional laptop for the price though.

Excellent budget keyboard.

Tecware Spectre Pro, RGB Mechanical Keyboard, RGB LED, Volume Wheel, Underglow, Outemu Red Switch
Tecware Spectre Pro, RGB Mechanical Keyboard, RGB LED, Volume Wheel, Underglow, Outemu Red Switch

Pros: - Excellent typing experience. - Lots of features for the price. - Volume wheel works as expected in Linux.

Cons: - I couldn't find a way to change the LED color without using the software. - Notches on F and J keys hard to feel.

Overall Review: For the price I paid this is an amazing keyboard. The keyboard feels very solid when typing, the keys don't make any extra noise, and the Outemo red switches don't have any wobble to them. It has a detachable USB C cable that fits very snugly in place. The volume wheel is an unexpected feature at this price point. My only complaints are that I couldn't find a way to change the color of the solid RGB without hooking it up to my Windows computer and using the software. I also have a little trouble feeling the bumps on the F and J keys making it a little tough to find my place on the home row when I start typing. This is the second Tecware keyboard I have owned and the first has held up very nicely and have no doubt this will hold up just as well.

Moves air and is indeed silent.

ARCTIC COOLING F8 Silent 80mm Case Fan
ARCTIC COOLING F8 Silent 80mm Case Fan

Pros: - Moves air - As silent as advertised - Excellent warranty - Fluid dynamic bearing

Overall Review: I have used Arctic fans for a long time and only quit using them when I went to RGB fans. I am using this fan in particular in a small NAS and can feel it pushing air out the opposite side.

Excellent for the price.

Vivitar PG-V003 Two Head Foil Shaver Black
Vivitar PG-V003 Two Head Foil Shaver Black

Pros: - All the features you expect - Good price - Good battery life - Close shave - Extra foil included

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: This does everything the big name brand shavers do for much less. Also, it includes an extra foil which other brands charge almost the same amount as a new shaver.

Good deal overall.

GAMDIAS Hebe GHS2300 USB Virtual Surround Sound 7.1 Gaming Headset, Smart In-Line Remote, Rotating Microphone Boom
GAMDIAS Hebe GHS2300 USB Virtual Surround Sound 7.1 Gaming Headset, Smart In-Line Remote, Rotating Microphone Boom

Pros: - fairly good sound - serviceable mic - great build quality - large ear cups

Cons: - heavy - mic could be better - virtual surround sucks - over the top gamer look

Overall Review: I have come to be quite happy with this headset. They sound pretty good, but lack a bit of sharpness to the sound. They are comfortable now that I am used to them. The thing that truly impressed me when I first got them was the build quality. The cable is nicely braided and the headset gives no indication of flimsiness. The virtual surround makes music and voice sound significantly worse with no noticeable benefit in games so I recommend leaving the virtual surround off. For the first few days I thought I had made a mistake buying these, but now I am very happy with them.
