Pros: The item works fine on my windows desktop, can successfully read and write files.

Cons: however, when connected to my iPhone, some of the folders (with pictures inside) cannot open, says unknown error. I tried to move the photos into another folder, nothing changes. With other brand disks they can successfully read the same photos, so it's the issue with this disk itself.

Overall Review: would not recommend if you want to read the photos on your iPhone.
