Pros: 34" curved is the way to go for singleplayer gaming1440p 165hz freesync(gsync working for me with gtx1080 ftw edition)Elmb yesBeautiful, colorful, fast response times

Cons: Frequently needing to adjust settingsNoticeable light bleed during dark scenes

Overall Review: Bought as an upgrade from my asus vg24qe, 1080p 144hz.Great noticable upgrade without breaking the bank. This monitor can do it all but just not all at the same time. Depending on content(movies vs gaming) i find that it frequently needs to be adjusted depending on the media and the room brightness. It has 4 custom setting presets which i take full advantage of. I created a day preset for movies, another for games. And then a night setting for each.Once those presets were fine tuned they work for 95% of content. However i still get an occasional movie or game that needs adjusting in order to avoid the movement issues you may have read about. Slight green artifacting and black smearing is apparent when the settings arent adjusted properly. That being said, i have yet to run into any problems that couldnt be solved with some minor tweeking to one of my presets.Rtings.com review of this monitor just dropped and it looks to be very well placed in all important categories.Hdr seemed to look washed out and dimmer so i leave it off.Use elmb setting on most moviesFree/Gsync on most games They cannot both be on at once but everything looks great when u find the sweet spot for each specific game/movieI was astonished to see such few reviews and only a 3/5 egg on this monitor when i bought it. But ive been an asus fan for a while and it checked all the boxes at a reasonable price so i gave it a whirl.Ive been using it daily for movies and gaming for about 3 weeks and issues at all. Will update if anything changes

Most Critical Review

Lasted almost 2 years

E-WIN Gaming 400 lb Big and Tall Office Chair,Ergonomic Racing Style Design with Wide Seat High Back Adjustable Armrest
E-WIN Gaming 400 lb Big and Tall Office Chair,Ergonomic Racing Style Design with Wide Seat High Back Adjustable Armrest

Pros: I'm 300 lbs and hard on items, so lasting as long as it did could be considered a pro.

Cons: This thing is UNCOMFORTABLE. The arm rests with MINIMAL padding hurt my arms. The seat padding is non existent, i ended up buying an extra pad for it.

Overall Review: These "gaming" chairs seem to be like all gaming chairs, meant for an esports tournament and then directly into the trash with them. I'm done buying gaming chairs that are solid as a rock on the bottom. For long term gaming, movies, and general usage, I'm going back to a padded ergonomic office chair and never looking back.

Does its job

WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX
WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX

Pros: -exactly as advertised -perfect for a backup storage. (use SSD or m.2 to run operating system)

Cons: 7200rpm catches the eye but my WD blue 2tb 5400rpm actually loads games a few seconds faster.

Overall Review: It's worth it to spend more on an SSD or m.2 if being used for Operating System. This drive is perfect for storage but dont buy it over the 5400rpm because of the rpm only. The 2tb Blue 5400rpm is larger, loads games faster, and can be found for about the same price. Don't forget to defrag every so often.

The gift that keeps on giving (purchased in 2015)

AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX

Pros: -Almost 5 years later and this thing is now showing its age. -Paired with a gtx 960, it can push gtav and earlier games at 1080p at high/ultra settings no problem -perfect for light photoshop / video editing but nothing serious -Perfect for the budget build.

Cons: - ? after no problems for 4+ years, I can't find anything bad to say about it other than its old.

Overall Review: Great budget processor that always worked for me. I may not have pushed it to the limits but I used for my main PC as a game and work station. (minor video/photo editing & a lot of gaming)

There are better options

Thermaltake AC-036-CN1NAN-A1 11.81 in. (All Cables) TtMod Sleeve Extension Power Supply Cable Kit ATX/EPS/8-pin PCI-E/6-pin PCI-E w/ Combs Orange/Black

Pros: -Its exactly as advertised. -They are extremely nice quality and look/feel amazing. -Adds that missing final touch on a new build.

Cons: -there are other companies cable extensions that offer more variety and less price. (I paid about 50$ for this pack) -cables are stiff and would be smart to offer 90 degree inputs perhaps.

Overall Review: There are other options out there, especially if you do not use EVERY cable in this pack. Check and double check that you would use every cable to ensure your money is well spent. Shop around!

5 eggs and no complaints! Orcus 240mm review

RAIJINTEK ORCUS 240 RBW, an AIO Water cooler for CPU, with 2pcs 12025 ARGB PWM Fans, Copper water block, Durable and reliable PUMP, Rotating Blade with ARGB LED, Compatible with Intel & AMD Socket CPU

Pros: -Silent. Quieter than a fish tank. -Cool as a cucumber. -Beautiful

Cons: -the pump cable couldve been fed thru the sleeve of the coolant tubing to make it a little less noticeable. Its a very small issue and took no points away from overall look and performance. I ended up using small zip ties to run it along the tubing and it looks fine.

Overall Review: Raijintek knocked it out of the park with this one. Slick, unique design that other aio have yet to copy. Its keeping my i7 9700k cool as can be. This company seems like it is run by caring human beings with personality. If I ever do have any issues with this cooler I'm sure the customer support will be great.
