Most Favorable Review

Same experience as most of the other reviewers on Newegg.

Intel SSD 600p Series (512GB, M.2 2280 80mm NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4, 3D1, TLC) Reseller Single Pack
Intel SSD 600p Series (512GB, M.2 2280 80mm NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4, 3D1, TLC) Reseller Single Pack

Pros: Form Factor Speed

Cons: None

Overall Review: Write speeds don't need to be crazy fast for my usage. Runs around 43 to 51 degrees C. Less would be nice, but it doesn't worry me.

Good cooler but has whine/buzz with a second fan.

Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3, Premium-grade CPU Cooler for AMD sTRX4/TR4/SP3 (140mm, Brown)
Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3, Premium-grade CPU Cooler for AMD sTRX4/TR4/SP3 (140mm, Brown)

Pros: TR4 rectangle size/shape contact plate. No leak/clog risk besides dust. Maxing out at 66C on the Tdie.

Cons: Swapped the brown fan for 2 NF-A15 chromax fans in push pull. Something causes the rear fan to whine. Neither fan whines in the front position. Either fan whines in the rear, with or without a front fan. Nothing is touching the blades. Tried with cable on top and tried with cable on bottom.

Overall Review: I still recommend this cooler. But, push-pull has been a disappointment.

Look closely at the pictures.

Phanteks PH-CB-Y4P 4.3 in. 4 Pin PWM- Y Splitter Fan Cable Female to Male
Phanteks PH-CB-Y4P 4.3 in. 4 Pin PWM- Y Splitter Fan Cable Female to Male

Pros: Quality part.

Cons: One pin was bent enough that I had to straighten it before I could plug in. No biggie, works fine.

Overall Review: The pictures on Newegg are a very good representation of what you are getting. Totally recommend this part.

I love it.

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv iTX Black Steel / Plastic Window Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case PH-ES215P_BK

Pros: Looks good Quiet Easy to work with

Cons: The rear fan mount is designed to accommodate a 120 or 140 mm fan, and the mounts are long so that the fan can be located higher or lower on the chassis. Unfortunately, this means the fan is mounted to long, thin, strips of sheet metal, which deforms very easily. This is not a big deal, it's just less than perfect. Maybe not unique to this case, as this is my first build with an exhaust fan that has rubber around the screw holes. Long story short, don't over tighten the exhaust fan screws.

Overall Review: Wanted the tempered glass or standard ATX version, but it was not in the budget. I definitely recommend this case for the aesthetics and cooling options as long as you are ok with the limitations of the ITX form factor. I don't recommend this case if you want a PC with a small footprint. It is wide and deep.

Runs at 3200 in an Intel based Z270 system.

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVGB

Pros: Runs at rated speed with no issue. Honestly can't remember if I had to set it to 3200 or if the motherboard detected it.

Cons: None

Great bang for the buck.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Mini, ZT-P10700G-10M, 8GB GDDR5

Pros: Runs GRWildlands bench on 1080p Ultra at 51 fps average and a low of 44 fps right out of the box, which is absolutely playable for me. In fact, it is pretty smooth. Got it up to 57 fps avg. and 49 low with it clocked at 2100mhz, +500mhz on the memory, and 112% voltage. This is using the Zotac Firestorm tuner. That OC maxed out at 77C as far as temperature. Normaly, I keep it at 2000mhz, +400mhz mem clock, and 112% voltage because I don't like running it that hot. I've run HWmonitor durring long sessions with those settings and it maxes out at 71C and 105% voltage. (Setting it at 112% voltage doesn't mean it runs a constant 112%, which would be more stress than I am willing to inflict.) Generally, this is a quiet cooler, but see the con below.

Cons: Tested an aggressive fan curve, but the temperature decrease was not worth the noise and vibration when the fans go past 80%. The fans can be heard under load, even with the Auto fan curve and wearing headphones. This doesn't hurt the rating IMO. I think that is just a reality with an air cooled GPU under load.

Overall Review: I recommend this GPU, and I'll echo a lot of other reviewers: its small size does not seem to hurt its performance.
