Question 1

I have 3 food warmers that overload a breaker, they are 120v 1200 w.

If I used this would it prevent the problem from occuring?

If not, do you have a product you might suggest before I call an electrician?

1200 watts per warmer, or 10 amps. That's 30 amps of power draw.  No surge protector I am aware of can handle such a load.  Most kitchen outlets are rated at 20 amps, you will need an electrician to wire multiple different circuits in your kitchen.  I have 3 different circuits in my kitchen to ensure I don't have this similar program, but this is extremely rare.

If it's 1200 watts for all three warmers, most any surge protector should be able to handle 10 amps of power draw.

Can the mounting brackets be turned 90 degrees for mounting vertical in the back of Dell cabinet on the back rail?

Accepted Answer

No.  They're part of the front plate of the outlet panel.  You would need to buy a separate adapter or customize the unit yourself.

Try the CyberPower PDU15B8R though. Its brackets are separate from the front plate.

Hi, I want to purchase but use it with 220V, is it possible?
(for Dell Server and Cisco Switches)

This particular one is only 120V.  You will have to search for one that does 220V. Not sure where or what that one is.

Question 4

I am powering four large amps plus other items.  Two are solid state amps and three are tube type (Dynaco Mark3 and a ST70 up graded) which have shut down my H10 APC unit when over powering these amps.  I am pushing four speakers.  Will I get enough power to do the job at high power settings with this unit and should I use in along with my APC H10 or not?

This device carry's a maximum 20AMP load limit. You will need to add up each device and see if it goes over.  Best guess is if your APC shuts down then this is not for you.

Here some quick math to help..
A PC power supply running 400 Watts is about 11 amps out of a possible 20.

I would try a online ohms Law Calculator for a precise calculation.

2) should I use in along with my APC H10 or not?
Daisy chaining with a APC will only pull more load on your APC and would shut it down faster as this does not have a battery, only surge protection.
