If You Refuse To Pay The Inflated Prices For a Graphic Card, This APU Works Quite Well!
Pros: Great support from AMD Tech
Overall Review: Performance is really great for an APU. It does a good job with Forza 4...decent frame rates around 40fs. I do not have any AAA games, so this APU will suffice until the graphics cards get down to a reasonable price. I had an issue getting it to work properly on my Asus B550 MB, not the fault of the APU. AMD Support was rapid and effective at resolving the problem. Turned out to be a driver issue on the MB.
It Works!
Pros: Perfect fit, recognized by the BIOS and WIN 7 Pro 64bit on my HP EliteBook 8650p laptop
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly recommend!
It's FAST!
Pros: Correction to my previous review.....Should have said "even though this SSD is SATA III, and my computer is SATA II, the increase in speed is quite noticeable!"
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly recommend this drive
Outstanding Value, Perfect Fit!
Pros: Looks to be of very high quality. Laptop recognized the battery and the battery management software works as if it's an OEM battery. Packaging by the manufacturer was excellent and included very detailed use and care information.
Cons: No Cons!
Overall Review: Highly recommend these laptop batteries!
Review Update
Pros: The card's size IS 9.5 inches long..NOT the 10.5 inches claimed by GOAT. He may have either an older version or the 9800 GTX+ in the 512mb size..which is 10.5 inches long.
Cons: It was not free
Overall Review: Forgot to mention that the monitor in the system is an ACER 22" at 1680x1050 DVI input.
Great Performance Value
Pros: Quite a substantial card, but I had NO problems installing it in my Thermatake LANBOX Lite case on my ASUS micro ATX board. Runs 37c at idle and 51c when flying the F18 on FSX. Got up to 55fps with the MKZBenchmark. Did not use the drivers from the included CD, went to the EVGA website and downloaded the current version. Fan exhausts air out of the grille on the mounting bracket and is fairly quiet. Only one 6 pin PCI conection required. Overall, an excellant card if your budget and/or space will not accomodate the newer more expensive and larger cards. EVGA's lifetime warranty is a big plus, also.
Cons: None, as of yet.
