Decent. Dont make my mistake

Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold ATX 3.0 Full Modular Small Form Factor Power Supply, 850W 80+ Gold, 90-Degree 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0, SFX-to-ATX Bracket, Customized Cable, 10 Year (MPY-8501-SFHAGV-3U1)
Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold ATX 3.0 Full Modular Small Form Factor Power Supply, 850W 80+ Gold, 90-Degree 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0, SFX-to-ATX Bracket, Customized Cable, 10 Year (MPY-8501-SFHAGV-3U1)

Pros: - Small - Fully modular

Cons: - Fan WAS noisy as hell, until I actually followed the directions - Cables are kind of stiff, not great for cable management in a small case

Overall Review: If youre getting crazy fan noise, check your GPUs PCIe power cables. You MUST follow the directions and use a separate cable for each 8-pin on your GPU. I didnt and got crazy loud fan noise. After adding a second cable, the power supply makes little sound.

Really cheap case, go for something better if you can afford it

XION Gaming Series XON-310_BK Black with Blue LED Light Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
XION Gaming Series XON-310_BK Black with Blue LED Light Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Nice materials. It really doesn't feel that bad, and the front panel looks pretty good. - Really dirt cheap.

Cons: - NO cable management whatsoever. - No optical drive slot, although this isn't a deal breaker, it would have been nice to have the option. - Only one 3.5" drive mount and only one 2.5" drive mount. If you plan on doing anything more than a HDD and SSD, you'll have to find some other case. - This might just be mine, but this came with NO INSTRUCTIONS whatsoever. This was frustrating as the drive mounts are very weird. - No dust filters, so be prepared to clean your PC periodically if you live in a dry or dusty environment.

Overall Review: Overall, if you can get a better case, go for it.

Great hardware let down by bad software

ASUS Vivobook S 14" Copilot+ PC Laptop AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 24 GB LPDDR5X Memory 512 GB PCIe SSD AMD Radeon 880M Windows 11 Home 64-bit M5406WA-DS76
ASUS Vivobook S 14" Copilot+ PC Laptop AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 24 GB LPDDR5X Memory 512 GB PCIe SSD AMD Radeon 880M Windows 11 Home 64-bit M5406WA-DS76

Pros: - Absurdly powerful processor/graphics - Excellent display - Great battery life (for a Windows laptop) - Good build quality - Good speakers

Cons: - Sometimes fails to enter sleep, leading to battery drain - Often fails to awake from sleep, meaning you have to force power off - Built-in ASUS "features" are obnoxious (like ScreenXpert, or the trackpad "smart gestures") - Chassis attracts fingerprints like crazy (but it's easy to clean with a microfiber cloth) - Webcam sucks

Overall Review: I've owned ASUS laptops before, so I was aware that they often have some firmware jank. But as of September 2024, this thing is clearly unstable and will need several more UEFI updates before it's ready for daily use. Beyond that, I'm very satisfied with this laptop. I've been able to play AAA games like Destiny 2 at 900p at over 60 FPS, and this thing is a monster in RPCS3. This is the fastest computer I own for development work, building software extremely quickly. With 24GB of RAM, the system is well suited for heavy developer workloads. The build quality and battery life are both good; not as good as my MacBook Pro 14, but a cut above the average Windows laptop. And for the price, I can't complain at all. Using the whisper mode does reduce the performance some, but it is quite quiet. If firmware updates continue to come out and fix issues around sleep, this review could easily be 5 out of 5. This would be a perfect college laptop, suitable for engineering, media production, etc. But in the first few days owning this I've had more issues with sleep than I've ever had with either my MacBook Pro 14 or older 2020 ASUS Zephyrus G14.

Great case, but be careful about GPU and cables

DeepCool CH160 Mini-ITX PC Case, High Airflow Mesh Panels, Full-Sized Air Cooler Support, Direct Insert GPU Capable, Flexible Drive and PSU Compatibility, Black
DeepCool CH160 Mini-ITX PC Case, High Airflow Mesh Panels, Full-Sized Air Cooler Support, Direct Insert GPU Capable, Flexible Drive and PSU Compatibility, Black

Pros: - Very compact - Excellent ventilation, kept my Arc A770 in check - Extremely easy to work in, better than most micro ATX cases

Cons: - Challenging cable management, but that comes with the territory - No long available 🤣

Overall Review: You can basically tear this thing down to a metal frame, to accomplish whatever you want.

Best case Ive ever used

MetallicGear Neo V2 Micro-ATX Case, Compact Chassis, Sand blasted aluminum, dual tempered glass side panels, Black
MetallicGear Neo V2 Micro-ATX Case, Compact Chassis, Sand blasted aluminum, dual tempered glass side panels, Black

Pros: - Stylish, great for showing off - High build quality - Filtered air intakes - Pre-routed cables - Inexpensive

Cons: None

Overall Review: I love this case. Its the best Ive ever built in, hands down. I got it on sale and with rebate, but Id buy it again at full price without a second thought.

Very Decent Tablet for the price

NuVision 8-inch Windows Tablet: Atom x5-Z8300, 32GB eMMC, 2GB RAM, Full HD Touch Display, Windows 10
NuVision 8-inch Windows Tablet: Atom x5-Z8300, 32GB eMMC, 2GB RAM, Full HD Touch Display, Windows 10

Pros: - Good body. Although it's no iPad, it's a very solid device with a well made aluminum body that doesn't get hot passively cooling the processor and the panel is just fine, if not a little bit of a fingerprint magnet. - Great screen for $100. It has a resolution of 1920x1200 (16:10 aspect ratio) and is incredibly sharp. It puts the 1920x1080 monitor I use with my desktop PC to shame. I might have to buy a 1440p or 4K monitor eventually. - Windows 10. As much as people hate it, with me initially being one of those people, I've really come to love it on this tablet. Everything is very touch-optimized and responsive, and even desktop applications like Google Chrome work well. It's user interface is very well designed.

Cons: - Battery life. It's pretty short under any usage beyond playing music or watching a movie with wifi off. I'd expect no more than 3 hours. - The core system is pretty weak. It uses an Intel Atom x5-z8300, which does struggle under even moderate multitasking. It only has 2GB of RAM, which while better than the 1GB some tablets have, is certainly limiting for anything beyond basic usage. - It only has 32GB of storage onboard. Windows already claims a third of that storage out of the box, so be prepared to pick up a micro SD card. - The cameras are a bit below par. They aren't absolute trash, but I wouldn't use them. Honestly, they could have forgone the rear-facing camera for a good front-facing camera and it would have worked. - The wifi is a bit weak. The range is sufficent for my house, and it's perfectly fine for web surfing, but you won't be able to stream Youtube at beyond 1080P 30FPS.

They didn't provide a package tracking number to Newegg, but within two hours of inquiry, they provided it to me.
