Pros: It's a USB cable. It works.
Cons: none
Great customer service, installation and product
Pros: I bought two cameras. Installation was easy using the mydylink lite app and scanning the card that comes with each camera with my phone. Unfortunately, on the first evening, the app stopped connecting with the cameras and kept telling me that they were offline. I called DLink tech support the next morning. My first pleasant surprise was that Aldi, badge #AR004246, answered immediately. I didn't spend ages on hold. Aldi was patient, polite and stayed on the phone with me for quite a while until the problem was resolved. Due to Aldi's excellent customer service with my problem #C6837957, I purchased a third camera today.
Cons: The mydylinklite lite app only lets me view one camera at a time. I'd prefer to be able to see all three cameras at once. However, since installation, tech support and the camera image quality are all so good, I'll live with this minor problem.
Not for Windows 8
Pros: Installed automatically in Windows 7-64.
Cons: Crashed Windows 8-64.
Overall Review: I bought the card to be able to upload video from an HDV camcorder to a Windows 8 desktop. It crashed the desktop. Windows wouldn't start. I only got a black screen. I removed the card but the problem persisted. I had to disconnect everything and remove and reinstall the RAM for the system to boot. I then installed the card in a Windows 7-64 desktop. It installed automatically and everything works fine.
Easy installation
Pros: Easy installation. Windows 7-64 home recognized the card and installed the driver.
Cons: none
