Pros: I use this drive as my main OS system and a few other softwares that need to be on the same drive as the OS system. Any other software will go onto another drive. Boots VERY FAST once you get all the updates. I haven't counted the boot time but I believe its less than 25 sec. I'll revise when I get an actual time with what hardware I'm running.

Cons: Needs to be formatted before you use it. Not really a con though.

Pros: worked great for 13 months. Easy to connect and disconnect.

Cons: Failed 1 month after warranty. went dead just this month. I thought maybe the docking station was bad but all the sata drives work in it. I cleaned the contacts and check the voltage to the adapter. The voltage was there but the adapter just wouldn't even spin the drive platter. Too bad it has failed just after warranty. I now don't have any recourse to replace it so I might have to buy another one and hope it doesn't fail.

Pros: MB seems & looks ok? Haven't installed it yet. I usually don't buy a refurb product due to not having all the items coming with it as the new one's do. This product didn't come with the manual so that was disappointing. That's why only 4eggs. I may revise this review after I have tested/installed this in my system to upgrade an older non-windows 11 complaint MB.

Cons: No manual or Sata cables. No screws for MB.

Overall Review: Overall I'd say is it should say what is "not" in the refurbished item.

Pros: Easy to store in your laptop back. Automatically is recognized by the operating system.

Cons: Nice to have a protective case for this but not a deal breaker.

Pros: I wasn't sure that this item would work in my HP Envy dv7-7227cl but after I installed and brought up the computer it only took a few seconds to be identified by Windows 10. I originally had a NON-bluetooth WiFi 802.11 B/G/N and the old one was slow so that's why I decided to try this one. It also wasn't on the list of PCI-E WiFi in the manual for my computer but this one works on mine just fine. I'm now at my maximum on my WiFi speed.

Cons: UPDATE:Well I've had this for quite some time now and there's no driver that works for the Bluetooth to work. It is telling me there's no Bluetooth on this device. Wish seller would explain why this is not working. WiFi works great but that's it. The only con is that even though Windows 10 sees the card and had drivers for it, it doesn't have the working driver software to use the bluetooth so you have to go to the Intel driver support and download only the bluetooth driver software fore this model.

Overall Review: FYI, if anyone has a HP Envy dv7 7000 series you can get a lighted keyboard for the one's that don't have the lighted keyboard. I'm not sure for all the 7000 series so make sure that your motherboard will have the ZIFF 4 pin connector first before getting a lighted keyboard.

Pros: I bought this drive to replace a 3TB HD in an external enclosure. This drive fit perfectly and interfaced with the controller card of the enclosure. Have been running this as a backup drive for networked system and no problems have come up. Has fast access for read and write.

Cons: None as of 15Dec15.

Overall Review: I would recommend this drive for any use you desire to do. Warranty could be a 1yr or 2 longer.
