Is there a list of cases this fits?

All cases are built differently. I know the connect part needs pretty much 1 inch of thickness on clearance if put behind the motherboard tray  I have a Fractal Design R6 and there is barely enough room to put it  between the motherboard tray and outside case cover. It would be great for a DIY Build but other than that you will want to measure the area of your case before buying this.

It will fit inside a Fractal Meshify S2, the case is literally used in the product images. Otherwise that's a hard question to answer as the backside of cases vary greatly but I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a mid-tower and look for something with plenty of space to actually mount the backplane, like you can't mount this over grommet holes, it needs enough space to magnetically attach somewhere. Also it sticks out quite a ways so the best suggestion that I can give is you need case with like 20+ mm of cable routing space (the Meshify S2 has 23mm). Hope that helps.

The connect pc is actually kinda long. I would suggest a case whether mid or full tower that doesn't have the left side with hdd trays. Get you a case where that side is just blocked off by a wall to be able to attach the connect piece without any hassle. You won't be able to attach it behind the motherboard due to it being too short. I know this is a rough answer, but hopefully it will point you in the right direction before purchasing this.
