Question 1

Does this item come with the necessary drivers for windows 7 professional? Also wanting to use for reflashing of GM vehicles with tech 2 scanner and laptop.

I have run this on Windows XP, and windows 8, it flawlessly shows up on the COM PORT as it is a "PLUG 'N' PLAY" unit, I don't think I had to install any drivers.

This is the adapter that professionals recommend, I bought it and run a complex audio device that shows up perfectly on PC computer screen and is in perfect real-time communication with the software GUI.

Also the Keyspan returns are flawless, so it's win-win.

Question 2

I am trying to connect an older model graphtec plotter to a windows 8 computer.  Will this solve my proble?  The model of the plotter is:  GRAPHTEC Cutting Pro FC4100-75

I have used this product many times for my customers that require a com port to connect to there security equipment with no problems at all.
It is the best product for me to use with these applications.

I am thinking your problem will be primarly with your plotters drivers and windows 8 recognising them.
A better choice would of been windows 7 32 bit operating system which by the way I have to use to make older software and devices work.
(Windows 8 Sucks)

Has this been verified on Windows 10?

Not to my knowledge.  In fact, I've seen NOTHING posted or discussed on the web about hardware compatibility concerning the Windows 10 update.  Who knows how much of your old hardware will work on Windows 10.  Microsoft's primary concern seems to revolve around steering you toward their cloud services and forced updates, notably forced participation in their customer experience program which on Windows 7 was optional but on Windows 10 is mandatory.  Now they can collect information from your system at will; this is great for Redmond and their corporate partners but maybe not great for you as the end user.

I use this product for an older Wacom drawing pad with a serial port for use with Windows XP which I use off of the internet.  In that capacity, it performs well.

I HAVE ONE OF THESE BUT HOW DO I GET A DRIVE? ALSO, CAN I CONFIGURE IT TO MAKE ANY PIN INTERCHANGEABLE BY PROGRAM?
