Designed to fit most 5.25" ODD bays, the CRU Data Express DX115 removable hard drive enclosure offers a quick and easy way to access your bare 3.5" HDDs. This enclosure is ruggedly crafted with steel for drive protection and enhanced heat dissipation. It consists of a receiving frame that’s mounted to the ODD bay of your chassis, and a removable drive carrier to which you secure the HDD. The support for up to SAS/SATA 6G drive allows you to get the best performance out of your devices.
This enclosure features soft-start circuitry that increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during drive spin-up, making this enclosure a great choice for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a reliable and versatile removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect their sensitive data. The lock prevents theft. Power, drive activity, and fan failure LEDs let you know the unit’s status at a glance.
