Stable: this UPS is rock solid! Even though it is not discussed much here, it has a sensitivity dial in the back that allows you to adjust its delay in kicking over to the battery when you have minor ripples in AC line power. This is a valuable feature for those in areas that suffer from frequent, minor "brownouts". The manual recommends running the unit on a circuit that doesn't share a large appliance, such as an A/C or refrigerator, but I've seen no issues with a mid-sized A/C. Most of all, the "mute" button is my favorite feature. I loathe noisy UPS units that beep like mad on minor brownouts and short term power outages.
