Cool and powerful, one of the best RTX 2080 boards available
Pros: EVGA offers a lot of value above a Founders' Edition. The higher power limit (130%), excellent triple fan cooling, and evolving & improving Precision X1 software make this one of the top RTX 2080 cards for an air cooled rig. The ability to monitor VRM, memory and GPU temperatures, as well as custom fan curves for each of the 3 fans is a huge plus. Also has a fan and RGB auxillary header on the card.
Cons: Make sure you update immediately to the newest Nvidia drivers before installing Precision X1 for the first time
Overall Review: EVGA's support in the early weeks was excellent, and the card runs reliably now.
Possiblyt the best air cooled 3080 on the market
Pros: Quiet and cool Very nice modern design Awesome performance, even at 4K
Cons: Needs all three 8-pin PCIE power connectors hooked up Uses lots of power Heavy card - requires an anti-sag support
Overall Review: Highly recommend this car if you have the budget, there isn't a better one for the money
The best of the best
Pros: Many underestimate the value of a top tier power supply, and Seasonic's Titanium units are truly the best available. Quiet, efficient, extremely tight regulation, low ripple, amazing warranty - there is nothing else you can hope for in a power supply! Considering the benefits over a Gold or Platinum unit, the price is very fair
Cons: None
Overall Review: If there is an Ultra Titanium unit that fits your power needs, buy it and forget the rest!
The gold standard for air coolers, but wish it came with the Industrial series fans
Pros: Lots of copper means lots of heat capacity, fits 2 140 mm fans but could be run on a single, cooling performance close to many AIO liquid solutions, no fear of leaks!
Cons: The fans are extremely ugly, if they would offer this with the black Noctua Industrial fans, it would be a true winner
The ideal boot and daily use drive
Pros: Extremely fast transfer rates, high endurance rating, sometimes goes on sale
Cons: Pricier than an EVO but if you catch a sale, it's worth the extra performance
Maybe the finest X470 board on the market
Pros: UEFI is excellent, board design and aesthetic is great. VRM is extreme overkill, runs cool and overclocks with ease.
Cons: Can't find a fault so far - rock solid!
As described and got it fast
A good buying experience!
