Pros: -was a bit faster than the NVMe drive it replaced

Cons: -unreliable product bad blocks showed up fairly quickly -cannot make a clone/backup of my data -samsung doesn't honour their warranties in canada

Overall Review: Drive seemed to work fine at the beginning, altho i have only had it for 8 months. Decided to do a back up/clone of it using acronis. Well Acronis reported bad sectors and recommended chkdsk, which i did, but nothing was detected. Used Samsung's magician app and sure enough during the long scan found 14 bad blocks, worst part is their own software option "Repair" didn't work. Finally i found out that samsung doesn't honour their warranties in canada so i am out what i paid for this drive in only 8 months

Cons: - will not work at rated speed of 2400 using 4 x 8 GB sticks...I am using all the same Fortis ram with the same rated timings - will only operate at 1866MHz when 4 x 8GB sticks are installed

Overall Review: cannot recommend this ram as i am struggling to get it to operate at it's rated speed using 4 x 8 GB sticks. If i use any 2 sticks together it works at 2400, but as soon as i put all 4 in BAM right back to 1866Mhz. ASRock B450 pro mobo that is confirmed to work with this ram. So frustrating, i have tried DRAM voltage settings, XMP profile etc. nothing works.
