Will this drive fit a Dell PowerEdge R610 server with 2.5" caddies? Thanks I appreciate the help.

I installed two of these drives in a DELL R210ii. It doesn't actually have the caddies but I believe it would fit the caddies. It seemed and felt like the same size as the regular caddy drives we get from DELL. Also I buy numerous drives from newegg both 2.5 and 3.5 and use them in DELL caddies since the DELL prices are so high.

Will this 1TB 7200 rpm internal hard drive work in my MacBook Pro 13" laptop? Bought the laptop in 2012

No it will not fit in any Mac Book Pro as it is 14.5 mm thick. the maximum size that will fit in. MBP is 12 mm, but even that is pushing it. It is even difficult to get external cases that will take this drive, a predicament I am in right now.

Will this fit in a MacBook Pro?

Unfortunately not.  These disks are much thicker than a traditional consumer grade 2.5" laptop disk.  About 50% thicker (an extra platter maybe?).  I buy these for specialized high density server chassis that can house them, and they would probably fit fine in most desktop PCs.

This hard drive is not for laptop computers it is designed for servers! It won't physically fit in your computer and your laptop will only provide 5V to the drive so it's guaranteed not to work!

Not likely to fit in a laptop.  This drive is about 15mm thick, rather than the 7-9mn thickness of a standard laptop drive.

This did not fit in any laptop I own. Had to sell it cheap, the big laptop I bought it for would not fit either. Nobody would let me return it because I was 3 days  out of return policy (laptop was a special order).

I think it is meant to be a desktop drive with a mounting plate.
