Will this fit my toshiba satellite C855-S6346 lap top?

I would say yes. I could not find that model on the toshiba support website. I was able to look at other C855 models and this drive would fit in those laptops.

Yes - as opposed to refurb/factory recondition. The technology is not. But it's a good, reliable drive for data storage.

My OEM drive is a 9.5mm WD. Will this need an adapter to mount in my laptop?

If there is a bracket on your oem hdd then it will work just fine
