Decent computer, bad software.
Pros: Lightweight Spacious keyboard Very long power cable Plenty of USB ports, an HDMI port; and an iphone cable port
Cons: Copilot Key is extremely annoyingly placed Fans can get very loud Shell feels flimsy Keyboard LED is painfully bright at night Sharp edges have poor ergonomics Bloatware that's a pain to uninstall. Norton, Copilot
Overall Review: The bones and muscles that make up this laptop are well worth the money, but there are cons that make me miss the more ergonomic my Acer Nitro that this replaced. First is the Copilot key right beneath the R-shift key and beside the arrow keys- insuring that if you're typing at work or gaming at home, that button will be getting pressed all the time, chugging the whole system to boot this garbage AI that doesn't do anything the start bar can't accomplish. As if filling out a spreadsheet had ever needed to be more repetitive and aggravating. Second, the LED keyboard obnoxiously bright teal in dark environments. Even their lowest setting is enough that I prefer to just turn them off if I'm watching a movie at night. It feels like they're brighter than the screen itself. Third, Poor ergonomics. I'm not sure who thought lipped edges where you put your hands was a great idea in theory; but in practice I've found them uncomfortable with my larger hands; and noticed that they like to collect dust and strands of pet hair. As I said, the hardware specs are good for the money. If you can put up with the odd ergonomics, this will make for a good gaming system for those who need to travel. So, three stars from me. Don't love it, don't hate it; you get what you pay for.
