Great bang/buck PSU for high power systems

Pros: -Can't beat this quality for the price. -platinum -new 12V cables for 40-series (no problems with this one after several months on a 4090...fits snug). -10 year warranty -build quality is amazing for everything but minor cable complaints (below) -better airflow than most from the wire fan-guard design (probably not even critical on platinum+, but it's there) -I never hear this thing operating, under any load (4090 maxed out, 13900k OC'd, lots of water cooling)
Cons: -Cables are a bit stiff. They're all made with heavy gage wire and have serious strain relief built-in to prevent problems, which is good, but that means they're not very flexible. -24pin cable is a little short and the strain relief was put on in a manner that pulled some of the wires significantly more than others, which meant you couldn't really pre-bend it in different directions very much.
Overall Review: The next step up is the Pro 13 1300W, which is about 75% more money? Other than more drive cables, I'm not sure what you even get for that. There are some aesthetic differences...platinum vs. titanium is a wash for most people. I couldn't justify it when this power supply is so good. PC: 13900k (running 6GHz 1-4 cores, 5.8->5.5GHz 5->all-P, 4.6GHz all-e) 4090 FE (runs 3.03GHz core, +1800-mem) 32GB DDR5 6000 2 D5 pumps 1 420mm internal radiator 1 420mm MO-RA3 radiator with 4 200mm fans 9 internal case fans (7x 140mm, 2x 120mm, mix of Silent Wings 3 and 4 Pro) So with everything OC'd and running flat out, this PSU doesn't even flinch - My voltages are rock solid.
ok game, not up to the hype though

Pros: some of the best DX9 visuals ever. Action packed single-player. MP has LOADS of guns and other weapons and perks to chose from. i bet this is one of the best console shooter games ever-short of contra and goldeneye of course. cutscenes are pretty sweet, love the old characters
Cons: NO DEDICATED SERVERS!. but moving on: installing from the CD froze several times, tried different things. Ended up starting the install from Steam, pausing the DL, then starting the install again from the CD and that worked. single player is EXTREMELY short. graphics look old with so many DX10 greatness in the world (11 coming soon too). game is a direct port from console, feels very arcade-y, hitboxes are huge in MP to compensate for matchmaking lag and console-aim issues(it's a port). matchmaking is a pain, it works but takes forever to find a match, then for the game to start between every round. maps are tiny, most gametypes only allow 8-12 people. only one or two allow 18. joining friends if they're far away (if it even lets you) usually leads to lots of lag. can't join games in progress. single player just didn't feel as awesome and fun as the first one. feels like some bonus missions for the same game. (i'm out of newegg-allowed characters for cons lol)
Overall Review: just kind of left me feeling used with a bitter taste in my mouth. they used shock value and hype to sell millions...and most people are just too excited about a sequal to what WAS an awesome game to see all the bad parts about this. most of the multiplayer issues could be fixed with patching...hell, the whole game feels like it could have been patched onto cod4 lol. Not a terrible game by any means, but it seems like they took what could have been absolutely fantastic and amazing and dropped the ball bigtime on a few things. great job optimizing dx9 for consoles, but the PC could have done so much more and other than IWnet, they seem to have spent 10 minutes porting the game to PC. props to the coders for what they did do and the story guys for the story there was, but in the end it was too short, hated the ending(what ending?) and wished they'd done as much with the engine as they did weaponry(tons of weapons/attachments/ways of using them, seriously, TONS! lol).
Might be ok. I probably won't buy from Crucial again

Pros: -I received the right product -It installed easily -it gets roughly 6500 read/write in crystaldiskmark
Cons: -No software support. Can't run Storage Executive software (gives a Java error every time). No way to update firmware as my laptop can't switch to MBR boot config and booting from an ISO is the only way to update the firmware outside of the Storage Executive software. People have been reporting this issue for YEARS apparently (just not the review sites I checked before purchasing). There's also allegedly tools in the software to ensure the cache is running correctly for different applications, but I may never know. -only gets roughly 6500 read/write in crystaldiskmark even though spec'd at 7400. This isn't a huge deal for my usage, but feels a little misleading. Might be due to incorrect settings or firmware issue, but I can't run the software so I guess I'll never know.
Overall Review: The drive itself will hopefully be fine. So 3 stars. I'm not sure if it's running 100% correctly or if I'll ever be able to fix any bugs/issues that they find over time (that are usually fixed with firmware updates) as this drive's firmware cannot be updated on my laptop without the Storage Executive application, which runs on JAVA still (why?!) and is a buggy piece of garbage. There are years of complaints about Crucial's Storage Executive software, including that many people had to run benchmarks or something to "keep the drive busy" to get the firmware to update without bricking the drive or throwing an error, which is a bit ridiculous, but that's for people that can even get the software to open without throwing a Java error that it can't find the gui or connect to a server.
Thing of Beauty

Pros: -Powerful card that can play any game out there with ease. -Stays nice and cool -Best looking GPU I've ever owned
Cons: -Nothing to put here.
Overall Review: Two and a half years later, still plays every game I've tried at max settings. It's very quiet, only turns fans on when it needs to, has a bunch of lighting options, Precision works great, and it's a beautiful card to look at.
Works great!

Pros: -Fast -consistent -reliable -maintenance free
Cons: -none.
Overall Review: Connects immediately on start-up, never drops out, as fast as I needed it to be. What more could you want? Most of the time, you forget it's even there, which means it's working.
Works great

Pros: Well made- solid construction, look great, very affordable, thin enough to stack in close USB ports.
Cons: formats to 15GB, expected with flash drives...or any drive for that matter, so not going to reduce an egg.
Overall Review: Newegg wins again, these were very affordable, showed up fast, and work great. I odered 6 for my coworkers and I. Not a single problem so far.
