EVGA X79 SLI 132-SE-E775-K2 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: sUPER SWEET BOARD AND MUST UPGRADE TO LATEST BIOS. MY 3930K OVERCLOCKS TO 4.2 GHZ AT STOCK VOLTAGE. WITH HYPER 212 UNIV W/TWO 120 Fans idles at 25C pASSMARK cpu benchmark is 14124 and 4th highest rated. only 8 core xenons beat it. Super deal bought for $139.99 with $40.00 rebate. Beat 8 core cpu's in cinebench. Highly recommend this board to custom builders.

Cons: just must update to latest bios to overclock. This is a board for tech people and not you average one time builder. Rookies should not build a system with this board.

OCZ Vertex Turbo 2.5" 30GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-1VTXT30G
OCZ Vertex Turbo 2.5" 30GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-1VTXT30G

Pros: Reasonable price.

Cons: Tested this drive on I7 920 running a 4 ghz. Drive is about 15% slower than 1st generation intel x25-m 80 gig ssd drive that i have owned for 6 months. Intel drive windows 7 experience rating 7.4 and ocz turbo drive is 7.1.

Overall Review: Really thought that the ocz turbo drive would have been faster than the 1st gen intel made in 2008.

Super Samsung M2 Drive

SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 250GB NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V6E250BW
SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 250GB NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V6E250BW

Pros: Read speed 3100 mb per second Write Speed 1700 mb per second on a MSI 2011-3 motherboard and intel 6 core cpu Super boot times and got it for $129.00 now they are $239.00 Still a great drive at that price & faster than the Samsung SM951 that replaced. Buy one for an intel board and you will not regret it. Runs about half of these speeds on AMD motherboard w/M2 socket.

Cons: No cons just get one speed is super fast.

Overall Review: Yes I recommend this product and would give it 10 stars.

OCZ Vertex 2 60 gig ssd drive

OCZ Vertex 2 2.5" 55GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G
OCZ Vertex 2 2.5" 55GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G

Pros: Have a ocz vertex 2 and agility 2 60 gigs ssd drives in raid 0 on ASUS P6x58D-E MB with intel 930 at 3.8 ghz and using ATTO benchmark getting 560 mbps read and 530 mbps per write. This is with Intel on board raid controller and tried the Marvel 3G Sata II controller first and best was 420 read and 260 write. Have made all windows 7 SSD changes to get best performance. Open Adobe CS5 in 1 second and loaded 8 gig file in 8 seconds. After rebates my cost for two drives is around $250.00. Almost everything that You do is instantly on screen. Windows experience index on these is 7.9 and outstanding. Buy these if you can.

Cons: So far no cons.

Overall Review: I using the vertex2 as the first drive and the agility 2 as the second drive in the raid setup. Next task is buying a another vertex 2 to put in ASUS EEPC netbook.

Super Fast Asus P6T Deluxe

ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great board, just make sure you have great componets, 750 watt Corsair p/s, corsair ddr3 1333 smx memory, 2-500 gig sata II 32 meg bufffer hard drive, Zallman 9700 led heatsink and fan with 1366 adapter brackets, 30 minutes to build, and currently running at 3.5 ghz with 920 core i7 rock solid stable at default voltage idles at 30C in antec 900 case with 5 fans. Express gates opens in 7 seconds.

Cons: SATA connectors could be face up instead of pointing out making them a little difficult to install cable after motherboard installed in case.

Overall Review: Running raid 0 with 6 gig corsair XMS memory and will upgrade to 12 gig this weekend. Almost twice as fast as my Q6700 running at 3.2 ghz. My goal is 4 ghz on air with zallman 9700 heatsink. Triple channel memory controller is excellent. Thanks newegg for quality parts and service.
