I'm curious to know if this adapter is suitable for the DVI-D plug in port of a NVidia GeForce GTX 760?
The reason for my query is because the 1st & 2nd images show this adapter as having four pins on the left side which if it is the case then this adapter would in fact not be compatible.

I noticed the diagram in the first two images does in fact show a DVI-I connector, however, this adapter has a DVI-D connector.  It does not have the four pins on the side, but has the single flat pin, which makes it a DVI-D connector.  (The connector with the 4 pins on the end is a DVI-I connector.)

As for compatibility with your NVidia GTX 760, i looked into that as well.  I'm not exactly sure which model you have, but the one I looked at had both a DVI-D and a DVI-I connector.  This is what NVidia has to say about their DVI-I connectors:

"NVIDIA based graphics cards which carry a DVI-I connector are fully compatible with flat panel LCD monitors which typically have DVI-D cables.  The DVI-D cable will read only the digital signal from the DVI-I connector on the graphics card and ignore the analog signal."

That was taken directly from their website.  Theoretically, you should be able to connect this adapter to either a DVI-D connector or a DVI-I connector at the back of your NVidia graphics card.

Again, this adapter does not have the 4 pins on the side but has a single flat pin.  I hope this answer helps.
