will it support a dvd rw?

Yes, as long as your dvd rw drive is SATA and not IDE.  If it looks like a little slot in the back, its Sata.  If it's a big, rectangular spot with visible pins, its IDE

Is the onboard audio okay? Using this with a pentium cpu, and a sapphire r7 260x.

Oh yea, I am really liking the onboard audio. Has not given me any problems. It may not be the best out their, but I am sure it will get the job done with no problem at all. I used this motherboard for a gaming system. Everything works just fine ever since I built it. I recommend this board :).

Yes, it does, two SATA cables.  In fact I cannot remember buying a motherboard in the past 8 or 9 years that did not come with SATA cables.

Can I use a DDR3 1600 Memory?

Is it a big difference compared to the DDR3 1333?

there are some difference in native speed, and bigger difference if you OC. if price is not much difference and if you can afford the difference, just get the better one for future proof.

Yes, if I recall correctly but even at stock clocks the chipset gets pretty hot so I doubt you'll get a good overclock with it. I used this board for a budget build which is does very well in.

This motherboad does support overclocking but it is smart to avoid it as it does not supply enough power and the quality is not built for overclocking

I am sorry, I am unsure if this product would work in the manner you want. I had a friend build a system for me and this product has been great. I have had no issues in almost a year and a half.

Can I update the BIOS on this board without a CPU? I'm thinking of purchasing an i7-4790 and I've read that H81 needs a BIOS update to support it...

No motherboard will post without a cpu--If it does need to be updated sometimes you can get them to send you a cmos chip already updated? I had to do that for a Foxconn barebone mobo recently.
