great upgrade
Pros: Popped it in, and it worked right off the bat. Only 65W!
Cons: none
Overall Review: Upgraded from a AMD Athlon 2.2 ghz to this baby. Noticeable speed increase for pretty much everything.
Disappointed
Pros: I have always been a big fan of Logitech. Their products have been of consistent high quality and fairly priced.
Cons: These speakers give off a crackling noise. The noise is the same volume to matter how loud or quiet the speakers are. So when the volume is low, you can really hear it. It sounds like the same sort of crackling you would get with a loose mini-jack connection, but I've checked all of the jacks and that doesn't seem to be the case.
Overall Review: I am irritated with the noise, but considering how much I paid for the speakers, and the nuisance of going through a return/replacement, I am just going to keep the speakers. Logitech is usually so great, so this one problem will not completely deter me from buying logitech in the future. Maybe I can still fix it somehow.
Huge
Pros: Nice neoprene material. Good quality construction.
Cons: Absolutely huge. I bought this for my Huawei Matebook D 14", and the case is way too big. Too wide, too long, and too deep. It's so fat that it seems more built for a gaming laptop, but thick 14" gaming laptops don't really even exist.
Upgrade from the 1215n
Pros: Great upgrade from my 1215n. I needed something basic for my everyday computing needs. This does the trick just fine. The i3 4010U with Intel HD 4400 can't be found in a package this small and this affordable anywhere else.
Cons: Thick bezels on the screen and keyboard. This PC is the same physical size as my 1215N, which had a 12.1 inch screen and an extra column of keys on the keyboard. Trackpad is a downgrade from the 1215n as well. There is no groove separating the touchpad from the buttons, which results in a lot of accidental finger swipes.
Overall Review: Had to uninstall McAfee which was preloaded. The PC ran more quickly an smoothly immediately after that malware was gone. Free upgrade to Windows 8.1 is nice!
Slower than expected
Pros: Storage size 3.0
Cons: Transferring files from my PC to USB drive averages 16 MB/s. USB drive to PC averages 50 MB/s. Disappointing.
Pros: Holds a lot of energy. Good size. Sturdy build.
Cons: Low power output. Takes a long time to charge my Nexus 7.
