Question 1

Is this a good drive for a Steam/game library? I currently have a separate WD Black 6TB HDD 256MB for my Steam library, and want to ensure I'll have plenty of space for future games. So I'm just wondering if (other than space) if this drive is as good or better than my current drive.

I have, for over 20 years been a Western Digital fan.  I still trust them as a storage manufacturer more than any other brand.  I used 3 of these Seagate EXOS drives (12TB's per drive) for a RAID 5 array.  Initially 2 worked and one had to be RMA'd as it was DOA.  Newegg took care of that promptly.  I spun up the RAID array just about a year ago and it has been running 24/7 since.  Not a single hiccup during my ownership.  I purchased these because getting WD Black drives, at that capacity would have cost me $200 more per drive.  Yes.  I believe that for your scenario the EXOS drive will do well.  Same spindle speed, warranty, and cache.  Enjoy.

Is this a good hard drive for a Steam/game library? I currently have a separate WD Black 6TB 256MB HDD for all my games and I'm thinking of getting a new drive for future games. Other than storage space (obviously), is this HDD a good drive that's just as good/better than my Black?

Yes, given its an enterprise level drive it will have a 5 year warranty instead of the consumer 1 yr.  Remember no one drive is perfect and you should always back up your data.  You might look at a NAS and set up a raid array for this.  look at synology.

Question 3

Did the Seagate Enterprise 12 TB drive, model ST12000NM0007, arrive in a Seagate OEM box, packed WITHIN a Newegg shipping box, or was it just shipped in Newegg shipping box with bubble wrap?

I know what your concern is. Are they retail drives that will be covered under warranty. They came shipped in a sturdy foam hard drive encasement in a large box with a static bag around the whole thing. I don't think these enterprise drives come in retail packaging at all. I successfully registered them on Seagate's website and got warranty coverage till August 2023.

Question 4

As of yesterday, this item was available to be shipped to Thailand.

But this morning, I saw that the stock ran out, and once the stock was replenished, it is no longer available to be shipped to Thailand.

Could it be a setting issues in your system?  Please double check because I would like to order it and have it shipped to Thailand.
