Is there room for a SSD in this case?

Yes however if you plan on using more than 1 2.5" you'll need conversion trays. And, the mounting for the ssd sucks. The shroud for the psu is a pain as well. . . I found no way to remove it even for installation purposes so be prepared for that. The case is cheap cheap cheap and all I can say is. . . you get what you pay for . . . so if you're looking for better space and design. . . pay a little more for a better case lol

can i fit a aio in here? was looking for a 3 fan aio all 120mm

Accepted Answer

3x 120mm Water Cooler? No! The front of Tower has JUST, enough room for just 2x 120mm fans. Or 3 fans, But! the third on top will intrude the Optical drive bays. (DVD/Bluray)
You can however install a Single 120-140mm AIO Water Cooler in the Back of the Tower, or the TOP.

Do the included fans have 4-pin PWM power connectors?

There are no PWM connectors, only 3-pin voltage regulated and regular Molex for PSU. You can still control them via 3-pin and your motherboard. These are quiet though even on full speed, so no need to bother.

Question 5

How is the airflow through the front panel?  It looks as though there is not much airflow.

The accented strips up both sides of the front are painted metal mesh. I can't imagine it being a problem.  Have yet to install my Cryorig H7 and everything is staying within normal temps. i3-6100, MSI 1050 Ti, nothing but stock fans and those included with the J180 case.  Planning to OC the CPU as I've read is possible using specific firmware on my MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X motherboard.

Will this case support micro ATX motherboards?

home website saids yes, but I have to echo the other answers, why? this is a big case. I have heard some are using it because they are afraid of water cooling inside a case, plenty of room to add more fans to cool. But they are over-clocking to extreme to test old cpu vs. new cpu. I would use this case with ATX board and enjoy the space(crossfire with two good GPUs, at the prices of today-future builds), but hey that's me.

Question 7

I just bought this case. I plugged in the hd audio cable into the mobo, but I'm not getting any sound out of the front grills!
Are they actually speakers?
(Headphones work, all drivers show ok)

There are no speakers in the grill. You are expected to plug in headphones to the front jacks or on the rear of the motherboard. There is a tiny speaker that comes with the case, but it is only for BIOS alarm or notification sounds, not for Windows audio.

Question 8

Does it seem that the blue mesh on the front is removable? The case looks nice, but the blue wouldn't match my build. I would like to paint them.

So I took my front face of the case off to look at it and it seems that each blue grill is made of steel and was basically cut so that it has tabs that go through slots in the case and are bent to hold it in place.  If you were to bend the tabs straight you should be able to remove the blue grills.  Each side has about 7 or 8 bent tabs that would have to be straightened out and I didn't see any glue on it of any kind.  Thanks for the idea; I might want to paint them myself.

No - I have an ATX board in there currently (Maximus VIII Ranger) and its a tight fit at 12" x 9.7".

Can the LED lights be turned off?

replace the fans for those without leds, the front blue is paint, paint it black to match. If you don't want other front or panel lights don't hook up the wires, you only really need is the reset and power anyway. Case fans are on sale about every 2 weeks on Newegg, 5 for about $12
