Great for Basic builds
Pros: -Silent -Fractal Quality -Allows 3.5 drive support
Cons: - the switch to clip in panels held by tension over the traditional thumb screws
Overall Review: Given the size of the case it was very well thought out and easy to build in with quality hardware. Usual define series sound dampened side panels. BUT if you wish to use the case to its full potential be warned. Although it may seem like there is ample room for cable management unlike previous Define series the panels are now held on with tension. This is my 4th fractal design case and the first I have seen with this design. Although I managed my cables really well, once I added the two 3.5 drives and all the cables associated with it I cant get the side panel to remain closed. I am not sure why fractal switched to this design over the thumb screws before. First on the front side some of the space for radiator support is taken up by the slots for these knobs for the panel to clip into. This is forcing my 120MM rad and fans to be jammed onto my RAM sticks putting a lot of pressure on the motherboard. It has to be forced in. (an uncomfortable amount) maybe consider low profile ram Second with the cables even routed through the appropriate paths. I cant get the panel to stay closed. This is mainly due to me leaving the 3.5 drive trays in and using them limiting space to stash cables. But if they are not meant to be used Fractal should not have included them in the design. This was one of the main reasons I purchased this case to have a large drive to keep my whole steam library at easy access for less played games not needed on SSDs. To finalize I am kind of stuck at this point but had I known these issues before hand i would not have purchased this case. If you do not plan to use the drive bays or have a 240mm rad this should be a great case for you.
