...building since '98. i change my cases more than any other component & build around those. i reuse as many components as i can. i started out with Slot-A ending with AM3+ (the exceptions of Prescott, Kentsfield & Wolfdale). my personal builds remain 8th - 14th GEN intel.
A tad late, but much appreciated ...

Pros: Upgraded from a 6400+ BE. Runs much cooler & doesn't use as much wattage (18C idle/24C load . A marked improvement in overall computing. The price is very reasonable, (whether on a AM2 or AM2+). Games play much smoother & look a little better, especially UT3. It's quite difficult to overload this CPU. I have 4 instances of Orthos-Prime running CPU Stress/Small FFTs/Priority 9 & there's ZERO slowdown or choppyness; while typing this review, defragging my HD, listening to iTunes & watching a DVD...
Cons: Came with a cheesy HS, (but not an issue since I'm on water). My first take on the power consumption of these quads was disappointing. However, my guess is that they need more power since they are a "True" quad-core? My main reason for getting this CPU was because of it's rated 95W consumption versus my 6400+ 125W. I lost about 1,000 3DMark2006 points with this CPU.
Overall Review: Overall I'm happy with the CPU. It made my little frag-box "that much better". the Truth...

Pros: I've had this version for a few months. I like the way it plays & behaves on XP, Vista or Win7. Probably the most solid suite of card games which feature Pinochle, Spades, Bridge etc...
Cons: The graphics are archaic. The resolution is locked to like 800x600. Hoyle (Encore or Navarre Ent.) have really got their head's up their whazzoos. Each year they put out a "new" version of their infamous Card Games series and each year it shows absoluetely ZERO visual improvement. In fact it actually degrades. I downloaded version 2010 thinking it would be "better". It was actually worse than 2008.
Overall Review: Shame on you people for regurgitating the same piece of donkey doodle over & over. I feel as though this 2008 version plays & behaves better than newer versions. If you are into playing various card games (which it does include just about all of them) then this is the best one to get. It's honestly not worth paying the $20+ for the download off their Website. Just buy the disc from tha' Egg.
TOP-Notch performance, looks & deal . . !

Pros: -This kit took to XMP1 right out of the box, paired with an Ultra 270K/ASUS Strix Z890-A. -After initial BIOS(3103), FW & DRiVER updates; manual settings for 7200MTs runs @ XMP timings & voltages. -These show up as Rev 4.1 which are Hynix A-Die apparently. -They're lower profile than some others, but have the typcial G.Skill modest classiness that still looks great. -Quite the deal right now for these guys, as they are $100 off with a 1TB thumb drive AND if you add in a DDR4 trade-in; that's under $300 for this kit [considering the context of today's economy].
Cons: -Still pricey for what they are. -Heatspreaders doing their job, idling ~30c in open bench; but do 'feel' like plastic - not the substantial heft of the Tridents. -wanted to go back for another kit. HOWEEEVERRR, the promo $100 off is a One-Time only deal (per account/address).
Overall Review: Overall: if you're in NEED of DDR5 and DO want something in the upper 6xxx with some OC headroom into 7xxx territory. . . it's hard to kick against these ATM. I was looking at those Crucial PROs, but for this price-point, G.Skill rep, OC Headroom, RGB & 1 TB Thumb drive . . . the choice was these all day long.
Solid kilo-watt

Pros: -nicely priced at time of purchase -more than adequate wattage for all my needs -very nice all white plugs & braided wires -per usual Seasonic Quality & 10Year Warranty -nice size, can fit into smaller cases -solid voltages powering Ultra 270K, 9070XT Nitro+, 2x16GB @ 7200
Cons: -none
Overall Review: -I reccomend
Great looking card, but very WHINY {{UPDATE}}

Pros: great performance for the price. felt confident by all the hype online. it looks the best out of all 9070 XTs, with lot's of attention to aesthetic detail. however,
Cons: it has significant and audible coil whine; during gaming and CPU/Memory intensive works loads. i tried playing with v-sync, 50mv undervolt & multiple different platinum/titanium rated PSUs. not sure what else to do or should even have to for an item of this *premium flagship* caliber. ATi/Radeon cards have always been notorious culprits of coil whine in my experience, since the days of AGP (pre-PCIexpress).
Overall Review: inititiated a return. {{UPDATE}} I recieved a brand new replacement within 5 days! NewEgg has always treated me well (for the past 18 years) which is why i continue to make any & all of my major PC & electronic purchases through them, if at all possible. As far as the replacement card, it still whines; but less than the previous one (and far less than me). bumped to 4/5 stars NewEgg Service 10/5 stars ♥
SUPER FLOWER indeed

Pros: So very grateful that Super Flower has been thoughtful to offer these for their existing customers. I have 3 Leadex Titaniums (850/1000/1600) & an EVGA SuperNova 1600 P2 [which is a Leadex Platinum 1600 rebranded]. I reached out to Super Flower for verification about the EVGA SuperNova 1600 P2, via NewEgg's messager and received a positive confirmation within the same business day. The length of ribbon works great in my 2 use cases HAVN Flow 360 (9070 XT NiTRO+) & Thermaltake TG Pro (3090 Ti Ultra FTW).
Cons: i think it ought to be mentioned that this cable is rather thin & unclothed in a 3rd layer of shielding. so they are susceptible to sharp edges and pressure. therefore, this cable is not going to stop or prevent any system damage from occuring due to misuse, abuse or carelessness. Super Flower clearly stipluates as to NOT bend the wires up to 35mm past the 12VHPWR on the GPU side. The Sapphire 9070 XT NiTRO+ is unique in design & thus i've since added some foam padding along the edge for added protection [see pics].
Overall Review: All in all, I bought 4 of these; one for each of their PSUs i own. They definatley tidy things up & provide some added peace of mind in departing from the 3 headed adapter.
arrived well packaged in a timely manner, just as described.
