Is this compatable for a desktop or mini itx sized PSU?

It's a tight fit, if the ATX power supply isn't too long and not modular you can probably use it but I would go with a smaller PSU just to help with air circulation. I ended up going with N82E16817256084 for my case, the PSU leaves enough space between the connector and the hard drive cage to snake you cables in which ever direction you need.

Question 2

Is there USB 3?

There are no front or side panel USB ports with this case.  The only USB ports you will have are the ones on the back of the motherboard you chose.

So, to get USB 3, you'll need to pick a motherboard with rear USB 3 ports.

How is the HDD cage removed ?

In short, you can't remove the HHD cage.  If you're experimental you can remove some pop rivets to remove the cage, but then you would be able to mount 2 3.5 or 2.25 drives at the bottom of the case. Hope this helps.

How much room do you have to mount a cpu cooler with a regular sized ATX psu?

There is not much space in there. I purchased a Noctua fan that was 95mm

Be carefull with the powersupply also it has a to be short. Not all will fit, I ordered two different power supplies before i could get one that fit dont exeed 150mm in length, ultimately this one worked:

Will the Rosewill Capstone 550W fit well in this case?

I am using OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W ATX in this case, it is a little tight, but everything is fitting in nicely.

Do you think you could fit 10 HDDs within this?

Yeah 2.5" Easy.  3.5" would be tight.  You could do 7 as speced.  There's room to put more if you didn't have a long pci card.

Question 7

Is anyone using an i7-5820K 6-core Haswell with this? I'm wondering about heat dissipation. Is airflow good enough for this CPU?

Also, is a CLC possible in this case?

I have not used anything near that level of heat output in this case, but after building in it, I wouldn't recommend it. The fan layout pushes air against the motherboard, then sucks it out through the top and the fan on the PSU (assuming a single large fan PSU). While this is effective for most CPU's, I would not count on this setup to be able to move 140W of heat effectively.

As for a closed loop cooler, (which is what I assume you meant by CLC) you might be able to fit the absolute thinnest of 120mm radiators using a low profile 120mm fan, but the only way to know would be to try it. My gut feeling is that it simply wouldn't fit, but with some VERY carefully picked parts, you might be able to pull off CLC, and therefore pull off the 5820K as well.

Could this fit an MSI Duke 1080ti? (320mm long, right at the threshold), and how have thermals/noise been for users with powerful graphics cards?

Yes, the max GPU length allowance for this case is 320mm so You should be fine.

The stands for this case are uncommon, they are actually just 2 large"feet", shaped like a canoe with a flat bottom.  A measurement taken on a flat surface below the side edge to the grommet is roughly 3.8 cm.
