With a Mini-DisplayPort male connector and a HDMI female connector, this AddOn adapter cable lets you connect a Mini-DisplayPort-equipped desktop, laptop, or other system to a HDMI monitor or projector. This cost-effective solution saves you the cost and hassle of upgrading your monitor. It also supports audio pass-through for full audio/video transmission. This unit is a passive adapter and requires a DisplayPort++ (DP++) output, which allows DVI and HDMI signals to be passed through the Mini-DP port. It's also compatible with DP over Thunderbolt ports.
