Cooler master improved a lot from the original

Cooler Master MasterCase H500P Mesh White ARGB Airflow ATX Mid-Tower with Dual 200mm ARGB Lighting Fans, Mesh Front Panel, and Tempered Glass Side Panel

Pros: -Looks great -Actually has airflow now -Quieter than I expected it to be -Cable management possible with effort (and a bit of force) -Lots of future options in terms of radiator mount points and fan configurations

Cons: -The cable management shroud in the back right has pretty slim clearences, even with individually braided 24 pin PSU cables pushed flat it had a really hard time closing, you have to really smoosh it on. That said it's optional so you can just leave it off if it's in the way, and as a back cover covers the whole thing you're not really losing anything visual (unless you want the back cover off) -I use air cooling, but if you have a radiator you're definitely going to want to experiment with rad placement and configurations so buy some extra thermal paste. The top is still acrylic, which actually helps air cooled systems as the fresh air isn't drifting up out of the case before it hits the CPU. For a top mounted rad though I would test to be sure it can vent properly. -The pre-installed fan cabling for the two 200mm fans is a jumbled mess or RGB, RBG splitters, fan power cables, and power fable splitters. To top it all off if you should use the included molex adapter to power your fans. For me this meant adding another cable to my PSU. Not the biggest issue but kind of annoying.

Overall Review: -Some minor gripes aside, it's a good case and cooler master has solved a ton of the issues with the H500P (ie, the top and front panels properly lock now, the fans can actually get air in). I recommend the case despite a few issues I have as those issues are basically only annoyances you'll encounter while building, not permanent feature handicaps of the case.

Great Motherboard

ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero AM4 AMD X570S SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: - OC Switching works way better than I thought - Fantastic OC performance in general - Access to nearly every single BIOS feature you could imagine

Cons: - No online update. My previous and like 5 year old ASUS board had the ability to just connect to the internet and update the BIOS inside the UEFI itself. I sort of expected this premium board to have that feature. You can still update the firmware obviously just not as easily. - Price. As it's the only board with the OC switcher I wanted this one. However, it's also loaded with XOC features for like the LN2 guys, even a dedicated button on the board to bypass cold bugs. I would have bought a cheaper board that had the OC switcher if any existed as this thing comes with many features I will not use as, let's be honest, there are not many LN2 overclockers in the world.

Overall Review: Great board just expensive.
