Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC Game
Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC Game

Pros: Great game Great graphics ( althogh a MP game poly count looks high) Sounds are great Destruction is neat and rewarding Playing as a team is rewarding which makes it fun

Cons: destruction 2.0 is a bit lacking. building with metal frames dont colapse, metal containers dont bend although everything else including the ground look like new orleans after katrina after 10 minutes. use of punk buster...quite lame...ive never had a problem but i hate it...they should come up with something less buggy cant prone...but then again this is bad company not BF series...although i do thing proning wasnt that big of a deal to add when you can do virtually anything else.

Overall Review: people like to whine...and you cant trust reviews since the happy customers are gaming away and not on here complaining. i bought the game off of steam...id be stupid to buy a game not from there considering how easy it is to lose scratch disks and how ive mispaced countless cdkeys before. bunk buster kicking you? dont be a mentally challanged and joind servers who dont have PB enabled. High traffic? what the heck do you expect? its BY FAR better than MW2 its one of THE best looking multiplayer titles so ALOT of people want to play it...browse for an emptier server and stop trying to do the AUTOCONNECT...thats for noobs and console players...you have a PC like i said...bought from steam but its the same as this...played since beta...and all i can say is ...i cant get enough.

GIGABYTE Sumo 4112 4112 GZ-FAEA41-CJB Black Aluminum / 0.8 mm SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case
GIGABYTE Sumo 4112 4112 GZ-FAEA41-CJB Black Aluminum / 0.8 mm SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -looks and feels like a 200-300$ case -interchangable LEDs on the front panel -2 exhaust fans (blue led only) -disk holder on the ALUMINUM door -quiet -HDD has a cool Rail system effective too -screwless PCI slot system (kept my H50 from fitting) -eSATA port, Ejectable hard drive enclosure(very neat) -mesh grill interchangable with plexiglass window -retractable feet -looks more expensive than it is

Cons: -Its very tall but not very wide preventing longer videocards from fitting (my 4850 and 5850 fit fine) pretty stupid considering its a full tower...that you dont have room for parts. -had to cut extra holes in the mobo panel for wire routing in order to make the case function better (i hate cable clutter, its ugly and nonfunctional) -for such a big case i would have expected better cable management. -replaced ALL the fans on the case with orange blade fans lit by white LEDs to match the front red light (did this because i prefer white orange lights over blue which have been proven to cause poor sleeping patterns in bedrooms trough repeated studies) -i did alot of reading on this case before purchasing and came to the conclusion that to have a case like this hold my components there needed to be modding. Tests on this case show that the back exhaust fans ventilate the upper part of the mobo very well however below the videocard is a dead zone causing the GPU to overheat

Overall Review: LIST OF NECESSARY MODS. -cut rectangular wide hole for sata cables, power cables into mobo tray close to the bottom of the HDD rack for wire routing -Drill and cut hole for a 120mm fan on bottom of the case for ventilation to relieve the GPU/ GPUS from heat buildup OPTIONAL MODS - replace fans with quieter ones/more efficient ones -add a dust guard to bottom fan that you mounted CONCLUSION it may look and feel expensive (and for ~160$ it is), it may perform well for a non high end machine but it needs modifications to be an excelent case. sincerely if you can live with cutting a round hole for a fan on the bottom this can prove to be a great case. i had to take an egg off for poor ventilation on the GPU section (easily fixable) and another for the case being so tall yet narrow preventing longer videocards from fitting without severe modification. id rather own this case than a case you can find eveywhere else in stores.

to the two reviewers below me

VisionTek Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 900338
VisionTek Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 900338

Pros: to the guy below me...this card has the SAME shroud/case as all the other reference ATIs. dont know what this guys is talking about cheap because the plastic is thick and sturdy and is the same as any other ati card but minus the cheesy sticker. the card is NOT quiet at 80% unless youre used to having a hairdryer for a computer in your room all day. it is as quiet at GPU controlled speed as any other ATI ive owned. yes it comes with 2 mini display ports and that is clearly listed on the info of this card. next time you buy something do your review on it and dont blame the card for your inability to read specks. the MDP adapter is just as much as any other displayport adapter out there so its not an inconvenience to just pick the correct one.

Cons: to the guy who reviews 2 spaces below this PCI 2.0 is just that. if your motherboard doesnt have it your card wont fit and it is not the card manufacturers duty to inform you how many millions of mobos it will fit. its your duty to measure the space inside your own case and to look at the specks of your PCI slots to see if they will fit a videocard or not. chances are if youre trying to fit this card in a really old computer that wont even fit it even if it had fit your old hardware is probably bottlenecking it making it an inefficient piece of hardware.

Overall Review: its sad how these people complain about something when there NOTHING wrong with this card. yeah its not 3 inches long...show me what card is anymore? yeah its not SUPER quiet no stock cooler is yeah it needs a mini dsplay port adapter instead of a regular....pay the 14 dollars and stop complaining. ive been running this card flawlesly in my build without a single problem it runs in eyefinity and handles any new game i throw at it in 1080 without overheating.

3M 3M Precise Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest, Soothing Gel Comfort with Durable, Easy to Clean Leatherette Cover, Optical Mouse Performance and Battery Saving Design, 8.6" x 6.8", Black (MW309LE) MW309LE Gel Mousepad

Pros: its a mousepad... and its comfortable it also makes the mouse glide very well

Cons: i cant give it 5 eggs because its too small for my new mouse which is a gaming gun mouse...it also is pretty unforgiving when it comes to any crumbs or whatever from snacks on it. it makes your mouse feel like its on sand paper due to its texture.

Overall Review: if you dont eat off of it like i sometimes do like a slob haha and if you use it with a regular mouse its one of the best pads out there

great card

VisionTek Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 900338
VisionTek Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 900338

Pros: -great power for the money -runs cool and quiet (although that partially depends on the case aswell) all my games are maxed out without stutter (BFBC2, starcraft 2, metro 2033, CS:S, and a few more) -not the latest and greatest but it will hold up Quite well for future games especially in xfire.

Cons: -many will disagree but $250~ is steep anything over 100 is steep for any videocard especially when they get dated so fast. they are usually the FIRST thing you need to upgrade in any pc...and buying the top of the line wont put you that much further either. so im looking forward to a day when they just simply last longer or cost less.

Overall Review: didnt buy from newegg and i was a bit scared of visiontek since i never owned a card from them but lifetime warranty is always there so im happy. would have bought the 6900 series but i didnt want to spend 300+ for not that much more performance. wish ati would stop releasing SO many cards that fill in the smallest gaps in performance between what they already have out. this card ranks between the 5850 and the 5870....there was such a small gap there there was no need to make something to fill that performance gap...regardless it was time to upgrade and i figured 6000 series are newer so i went with this card. i have one card running 3 24 inch screens and it will run all my games in eyefinity maxed out except for metro which is quite the benchmarking game if you have 80 extra bucks but the 6900 series but otherwise this will keep you happy just fine.

Really dissapointed

OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK

Pros: worked fine while it lasted. 1 egg off for jacking up price 1 egg off for my stick ceasing to exist 1 egg off for my warranty not being valid.

Cons: one of the 3 sticks died within 6 months. bought from another vendor from someone who bought them without knowing about computers and thought he could get them to work in a really old pc. needless to say they didnt even fit making them brand new when i bought them but open package. they were as new as new got. 6 months later one of the sticks dies and now i have to RMA all of them leaving me without a computer for weeks. im a student i have papers...i dont live on camputs and this was THE ONLY computer i had to work with so i find it unnacceptable that i have to ship/ wait / wait for them/they ship/ i wait /etc. i tried to make this problem less painful by asking them if i could upgrade and pay the difference since they have to send me 3 new sticks anwyays....if there were a possibility of getting 12 gb instead of 6 (4 gb each) they said no since they only sell through vendors. well..since the box was open and bought from a non ocz vendor it doesnt even qualify for warrany

Overall Review: THIS RAM USED TO SELL FOR 100$...the reason i bought used is because the prices shot up to 160-170$ and i found it on a diff vendors website open box for 120$... at 150$ i dont know what people are saying its a good price....its still 1/3 of the price more than its suposed to be. maybe ill buy a different brand since ocz (insert bad word here) me on the rebate of the powersupply i bought from here. look up reviews on this company....their rebate and customer support leave alot to wish for...but since they already made the money i guess they dont care much.
