Our USB Switcher allows a 4-port USB3.0 switch to share 4 USB devices between 4 computers via a button with an LED that lights up in blue to indicate the active pc. it's perfect for shared printers, scanners, mice, keyboards, USB drives, etc. for use in offices, homes, surveillance rooms, and other environments. If you have multiple PCs, one base unit will work on all of them and our USB Switch Selector will be the perfect choice to not only save money, but also greatly increase productivity.
How to use
1. Connect your computers using the supplied type A to type A cable. (Up to four computers can be connected)
2. Connect your USB device to any one of the four USB ports. USB devices can be USB flash drives, mice, keyboards, printers, scanners, external hard drives, webcams, cameras, video surveillance, digital camcorders, etc.
3. Press the toggle button to select the computer you need to use.
Please note
- When using multiple hard drives, printers, scanners or other high power products at the same time, the device will not work stably (depending on the power of the device) In this case, please connect your power adapter to our USB 3.0 Switcher with the 5VADC power cable we included, so that all 4 ports of the USB KVM switch can work together without delay.
- An external power supply is only required if the simultaneous use of high power external devices causes unstable transmission. In the vast majority of other cases, it is not required, and the supplied power cord is only used as a backup. Note that the 5V2A adapter must be used, too much power may cause damage to the keyboard mouse switch.
