Nice HD monitor!

AORUS CV27F 27" Frameless Curved 1500R Gaming Monitor, Full HD 1080p, 90% DCI-P3 Color Accurate VA Panel, 1ms 165Hz, HDR, FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA, Zero Bright Dot Policy
AORUS CV27F 27" Frameless Curved 1500R Gaming Monitor, Full HD 1080p, 90% DCI-P3 Color Accurate VA Panel, 1ms 165Hz, HDR, FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA, Zero Bright Dot Policy

Pros: - Excellent view angle. - Bright backlight - Good performance in general for price and illumination - You might think you don't want a curved monitor, but when you see one you will. - The onscreen reticle is customizable and integrated into the monitor. Draw a smiley face that won't be visible to Twitch, way better than using a dry erase marker. - I can see the optional onscreen info being of use to people, along with the large variety of customizable presets.

Cons: EDIT: Issues below involve firmware F05 and lower. F06 from the website seems to have resolved this issue. When the scene goes significantly dark, in a game or in a film or a YouTube video or a Twitch stream or even in CS, the backlight cuts out. I have no idea what causes this, but all video modes react the same; when most of the screen goes dark (equal to about 90% black pixels if I had to guess), the backlight dims to about 50%. When your eyes are accustomed to a certain level of brightness, the effect of that is like walking into a dark room from sunlight. Really miserable in certain scenarios when sniping in a video game. Master Chief Collection's Halo Reach, for example, will have this backlight issue in certain areas of the game, though this can be mitigated with night vision. In other areas, the RGB Fusion backlight control software has, for me on Windows 7 Pro, often gone out of control with its share of the CPU, taking up to %30. Uninstalling it was effective. The OSD Sidekick software has an issue where it still shows up in the little taskbar well after being closed out, then reopening it does nothing. Controlling it from the taskbar well icon works though.

Overall Review: I want to love this monitor. I'm sure a firmware update (it has its own firmware) would be able to mitigate the backlight dimming issue. However, even after the F05 firmware release in November, the issue still persists. Interesting because the F04 release specifically addressed a "backlight" issue. EDIT: Firmware F06 resolves the backlight issue! I can now highly recommend this monitor!

NO! THIS WILL KILL YOUR LAPTOP

TopMate C11 Laptop Cooling Pad RGB Gaming Notebook Cooler, Laptop Fan Cooling Stand Adjustable Height with 6 Quiet Fans Blue LED Light, Computer Chill Mat with Phone Stand, for 15.6-17.3 Inch Laptops
TopMate C11 Laptop Cooling Pad RGB Gaming Notebook Cooler, Laptop Fan Cooling Stand Adjustable Height with 6 Quiet Fans Blue LED Light, Computer Chill Mat with Phone Stand, for 15.6-17.3 Inch Laptops

Pros: - Does provide underside ventilation and includes a phone holder. - Has pretty lights with varied settings.

Cons: - The construction is as cheap as you'd expect from the product price. Feels like nylon? But thin. About the inclining wire I'd say "only put it on the innermost elevation lest the platform collapse" but I'd never put anything the value of a laptop on it. The reason is, aside from the notches feeling like they're ready to pop out, the feet (even with the rubber caps) that are supposed to prevent the laptop from sliding feel feeble and if your lappy has any kind of chamfered or filleted bezel under the trackpad, IT IS GOING TO SLIDE OFF. - The ventilation is BACKWARDS! You NEVER blow ventilation ON TO delicate electronics, you vacuum AWAY FROM electronics! The reasons being that it's A. far more likely to build up dust when you blow on and B. direct ventilation can result in uneven cooling and hot spots, which will shorten component life.

Overall Review: Stay away from this thing unless you're looking for a bad product review or an up-cycling project. As for me, not sure it's worth going through the returns process, but I'll check that out. If I'm stuck with it, I'll try reversing the polarity on the fans, I'm sure they're just brushless DC and not stepper-driven so I'm betting there are JST connectors somewhere in there. That being said, no matter what you do, don't set this thing on incline without some serious aftermarket enhancements.

I SOUGHT this flashlight! Went out of my way to write this I love it so much!

2LED+COB 400LM USB Rechargeable Foldable Car Maintenance Light Work Light LED Flashlight Power Bank
2LED+COB 400LM USB Rechargeable Foldable Car Maintenance Light Work Light LED Flashlight Power Bank

Pros: - Charges via USB-micro B - Acts as a battery bank via USB-A (!) - Both ports stowed behind a weatherproof rubber gasket - Has strong (I measured it at 1.3kg+ on my kitchen scale) magnet in the base for mounting to steel - Two different light modes, circular beam and strip (both LED of course) - Dimmer option for both light modes - Two angle joints let the bar light travel 270°. It doesn't swivel, so the second joint allows it to direct light even toward where it's mounted - Replaceable 18650 cells means this is not only a flashlight and battery bank, but ALSO a USB 18650 charger! - Comes with a short USB-A - USB-micro B cable in case you didn't already have 50.

Cons: - They cheaped out on the included 18650s; the ones included damage (bending) the positive power terminal because of an out-of-spec positive cell terminal. Not a problem unless you're trying to change them out for other 18650s, can be repaired with some bending but only an issue if you ever plan to swap the cells out or add new ones. - Includes 1 18650 each, but have space for 2 (was confusing as to why there was only 1 included cell).

Overall Review: Okay, I bought one of these from Bezos a few years back. It was SO AWESOME (check the pros section - USB charging and charger, AND two light modes? A tech's DREAM!) I bought more, one for my wife and one for my brother! Come back to try to order more, turns out the seller working with Jeff changed the product picture for a lesser light. I thought they might have been recalled for some reason, but I kept looking, literally, for YEARS. Finally check NewEgg's back pages and hit on these!! They're the exact same model as the one I bought, plus they come in a choice of colors. (They only sell 1 per unit by the way, not a pack of 4). So, don't get it confused: 1 18650 per light, but can handle 2, one flashlight per unit ordered, and they are the BEST FLASHLIGHT/BATTERY BANK/18650 CHARGER EVER.

Feels like a new company or new industrial process

Marvel Avengers Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair PU Leather Desk Chair PC Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair Headrest and Lumbar Support - Iron Man
Marvel Avengers Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair PU Leather Desk Chair PC Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair Headrest and Lumbar Support - Iron Man

Pros: Higher quality construction than most chairs you see. As comfy as you'd assume from similar chairs. The Stark Industries branding is awesome. There's a mini comic book included alongside the standard assembly instructions.

Cons: If you like high armrests, pass on this one, find adjustable armrests. I'm 100% sure the fake PU leather will fall apart. Gonna have to see if I can't find some kind of protectant, which isn't a word. Would be lovely if they went back to fabric for these types of chairs but I suppose that'd cut into their bottom lines when people stop buying more.

Overall Review: The "Headrest" you see actually has a USB-powered switch-actuated vibrator built-in to it. It does carry 330 lbs. I've never seen Korean-manufactured chairs, so I'm assuming that the build quality is from a new company over-engineering a product before trimming back to maximize profits. Definitely a good purchase if you need a PU leather chair and are a huge Iron Man fan.

It's like a desk but more up

Rosewill Desk Riser / Computer Monitor Stand with Wood Top and Metal Feet, Black Printer Stand - Desk Shelf Monitor Riser Desktop Organizer with Keyboard Storage Space, RMS10
Rosewill Desk Riser / Computer Monitor Stand with Wood Top and Metal Feet, Black Printer Stand - Desk Shelf Monitor Riser Desktop Organizer with Keyboard Storage Space, RMS10

Pros: Sturdy Holds things Keyboard slips under it Leg rings are metal

Cons: Pointy Might be hard to see because dark Can only slide things from one side

Overall Review: If you need something to be slightly taller on your desk or if you want to slide your keyboard out of the way under something that can be a bit higher, get this thingy. Don't bother with it if you own a home with or have access to power tools unless it takes you 20 minutes to get to Home Depot (time investment vs product).

Baddest mother of a case I've ever bought

Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK
Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK

Pros: - Arrived very quickly. - Has 6 USB (2x 3.0, 4x 2.1(?)), audio in/out, power/reset buttons AND A FREEKIN' SATA/POWER HDD/SSD SLOT on the top of the box! (Wife saw the ports and said: "That's cheatin!") Obviously designed for floor use. - Has internal cable-routing features with back panel (behind the mobo) access. I've never had computer internals look this pretty. Has internal-external portals, but haven't thought of a use for them yet. - Incredibly roomy, probably to facilitate liquid-cooling. - Back panel access is designed to service SATA drives rotated with ports facing the MoBo wall (this is evident by the fact that the removable drive-mount trays make connecting cabling to a mounted SSD impossible from the main access panel. Mount SATA drives with ports facing the MoBo). - Internal HDD bays are customizable, and can be removed for extra-long PCIe cards - Main access panel has a cute window next to its panel fan. - Extremely well-ventilated; much of the external construction is a metal mesh around a pressed unibody structure, through which the blue fans shine. - Bottom side has included cleanable (and omitable) filters provided to protect PSU ventilation. Overall, incredible value.

Cons: - This is not a "desktop" tower. It's a "floor," or a "deskunder." Because it's so roomy, it's twice the size of a standard full ATX desktop tower, at 8x20x20", and given the location of its readily-available ports at knee-height, it was clearly designed to be floor'd. It's described as a "Mid Tower," but there's nothing "Mid" about this. - Fairly sure this will need vacuuming more often than a case that has fewer fans and holes. - Nature of the drive mounts (ports parallel to the MoBo, as opposed to ports perpendicular) means that both access panels must be removed at least once each, and cables must be properly routed, every time you want to properly install/change/remove internal drives.

Overall Review: - Many, many fans. 5 with an option for a 6th if you don't use expansion bays. - Fan LEDs glow blue while in service; not sure the light can be turned off. - With the drive expansion bay mounted on the top, you'll want to buy another SSD just to use it.

Not one size fits all (too BIG!)

It has three tri-rotating ball massagers under each foot with a central large ceramic ball (billard-sized) for spot-rolling. The heaters around the massagers provide a gentle warmth and are great on cold drafty nights at the computer. Only problem is that my feet are too small for it, but my hubby's giant feets (size 12) fit just fine. The massaging action will also migrate your feet forward so be aware.
