Best fast IPS
Pros: - Pixel Response time keeps up with modern TNs. - ELMB-sync is an amazing feature if you can tolerate its downsides (dimmer screen and slight input lag). - 280hz looks just a tad nicer in motion than 240hz. Regardless of how small the difference is this is one of the major reasons I went with the ASUS version of their fast 240hz IPS displays. - Price ofc.
Cons: - On paper slightly slower pixel response time than the latest TNs. Can't say from experience how that fairs but this one does well against my previous 240hz TN. - No way to set monitor OSD presets to alternate between shooters and desktop use.
Overall Review: I've owned both the XL2546 and now this 280hz IPS alternative. If you want a monitor with both super-high refresh rate and performance as well as retaining some image then this is the monitor I would choose. If you want the absolute maximum in performance the most recent sub ms response time TNs would be more for you.
