Can 2 of these be ran in duel channel?

Yes, but I had to run them on separate channels at first. Once the setting got stabilized on my board, I was able to run them on a single channel with other memory present. But again, not at first.

Does this come in any other colors, and if so, how do I get the other colors besides black?

To my knowledge this is the only color. But you could always get RAM heatsinks/heatspreaders in the color of your choice and switch the stock ones out.

I would like to add one stick of this to a z170 gigabyte ITX motherboard that has 2 slots for memory..can i do this then buy the 2nd stick later on when i have more money?

Yes, absolutely! I have 4-memory slot ATX MB and I'm only using one as well. I plan to buy 3 more in the future. So don't worry, it's perfectly safe!

Will 4 of these work together in Dual Channel on a Asus Z170 Deluxe Board ?

I checked the motherboard online and it support up to 64gb of ram (ddr4) but their is some bad review about bad ram slot on that motherboard. I recommend you going through the review of that board and see if you want to take a risk.

The specs say "Intel Z270 platform" but the picture of the package says Z170. Is there a newer version?

There is a Z270 platform, mostly to add more PCIE lanes, and the Optane technology. But I personally run this ram on a Z170 platform, and it works great!

Will this work in MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard without having to flash my BIOs?

Unless there is some strange incompatibility, it should work.  The specs on Newegg for the mobo show DDR4, and the range of speeds covers this one (3200MHz).  This would mean you don't have to flash the BIOS to use the stated speeds.  If it doesn't work when you try it, you may then try updating the BIOS, as I see the BIOS updates are supposed to improve memory compatibility.  This RAM is over a year old, and should be known by MSI so as to make their newer boards compatible with it.  You may need to manually enter the RAM's rated speeds to take advantage of them, because often the mobo starts it off at a standard speed (MHz), as well as timings.

Why this memory is only displayed to work with Intel Z170 chipsets motherboards?

Because it's DDR4. They also work with X99 boards also. Any board that excepts DDR4 RAM can use this. However if you just want to be super sure, the brand of the board that you want to get should have a compatibility chart on their site. Or you could just simply look at the spec of the board you want.

Will the G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB 3200 speed  work with an asrock x470 tachi motherboard?

This RAM is not listed in the manufacturer's QVL as compatible. There's a chance Asrock has not tested this RAM yet and it may still be compatible with the motherboard since the motherboard does support the RAM type and speed. Will this work on an AMD AM4 motherboard? More specifically Asus B350?

Yes. It works on my Asrock Gaming X despite not being on the QVL list (although at 2933 instead of 3200) .

It works for me. MSI X99A SLI PLUS board. I enabled my XMP 2.0 Profile in the EFI menu and am able to run at the native 3200Mhz.
