It will fit a full size desktop computer.  It comes with both a full height and half height bracket that are interchangeable via a simple Phillips head screw.  It does come with mini display port to full display port adapters, but all monitors do not support display port.  if you monitor(s) support HDMI or DVI you will need to purchase an additional adapter.  Usually you can just get a mini DP (Display port) to DVI (or HDMI) cable - this is now uncommon!

Why does description say "1x mini display port" but also says up to 4 displays and the image also shows 4 mini display ports? The manufacturer says it has 4 mini display ports but also doesn't include "VGA" in the part number. I think someone at NewEgg messed up and because of that I will be buying this somewhere else.

It must be a clerical error. I photo clearly shows 4 mini display ports. The card also comes with 4 adapters to convert to display port.
