Pros: Tons of IO options. Good looking. Easy set up. Well placed fan headers. Asus has good bios support (already at 4 for this board). Performance seams to be okay, will need more time to evaluate. will probably update this review in the future.

Cons: Priced a little high compared with competitors. Should have at least 2 more fan headers. Software is so-so Does not report temperature or core voltage accurately. Aura controls are a part of Armor Crate unless you download off of web site and are less robust.

Overall Review: Have it paired with a R9 3900X. Having everything on "auto" in the bios yields 4400 MHZ observed in boost speeds and an all core between 4 GHz and 4.2 GHz. The way the 3000 series handle boost is a bit wonky, and some software seems to cause these processors to remain in the boost state regardless of load. Growing Pains! CPUZ isn't reporting voltage accurately either. VRM quality on most of these X570 boards do seem to extract a bit more performance out of these chips. Overall Review: I bought this to upgrade an old AM4 system for my daughter, who didn't to buy a whole new system. Motherboard is an MSI B350 PC Mate. (Purchased maybe 2017-18) with a ryzen 1600, a ASUS Vega 56, and Corsair 3200 DDR4 which I never got to run above 2933 Mhz. Kudos to MSI and their bios support! Flash to latest beta bios and updated drivers (without having to remove to ryzen 1600) then installed new 5700X3D and more than doubled many metrics in 3Dmark! Paired with a RX 6800 and she doubled or tripled performance of everything she has tried so far! The old Corsair memory - rock solid at 3200mhz now!

Pros: Speed, build quality, temps, drivers, aesthetics and......Price - I got it UNDER MSRP! RAM 16 Gs! There is no way you should pay this much money for less!

Cons: Size of the card and the support bracket. Barely fits in my full ATX Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. card is nearly the size of my keyboard! I could not use the well made support bracket because of the drive cages. I used a small bracket that worked well.

Overall Review: Can finally push my Odyssey G9 well! At 5120 x 1440 it is 7/8 of a 4k monitor. Almost everything I play is Maxed out and 100 150 fps! This card is about 300 mhz overclock over the reference and I purchased $100 less. RDR2 is a rare exception (aprox 70-75 fps). Also I will utilize more than 8 gigs of RAM in most of the games I have played. Dont think it is necessary, try playing a game like Anno 1800 without FSR!

Pros: Size! Is definitely the right resolution for a monitor like this. Color and brightness are amazing. Light bleed on the edges is less than I expected. Don't let the curve scare you, not as radical as you might expect after you start using it. Games that fully support the resolution look amazing! Multitasking is incredible! Replaced a 34" 2560 x 1080 monitor - so much more desk top work space! I haven't used a multi-monitor setup in years, and this one will keep me from ever considering one again!

Cons: - Only 3 refresh rates are supported- 60, 120, 240. Cannot tune this setting currently. - Back lighting zones are large - most noticeable when screen is mostly black. - Required firmware update out of the box - fairly easy to accomplish. - Doesn't always recognize video signal during computer restarts. Better since firmware update manual switching to another source and back fixes this. Currently there are known driver issues with AMD and nVidia graphics.

Overall Review: I am currently driving with an ASUS Strix 5700XT. At 240Hz I have noticed some artifacting on occasion, mostly with games that push the card hard (RedDead2 was one of them). Right now, 120hz with Freesync on gives me the smoothest result. In my opinion, the higher resolution more that makes up for reduced graphic settings if you cannot currently upgrade your video card. I do expect driver bugs to be resolved rather quickly. This monitor is a first for size - speed.

Pros: Build quality is excellent. Built in support structure make the card more rigid that previous Strix cards. Doesn't seem to sag. Dual Bios, out of box overclock, overall performance. Replaced a Strix Vega 56 I had for 6 months with this. Roughly 20% performance gain across the board. Paired with a LG 144 hz ultrawide 2560 x 1080 monitor for now. Extremely smooth - high frame rates in most titles.

Cons: Prices are a bit high for all of these cards! (5700's, 2060's) This performance range was almost HALF of these prices just 2 - 3 years ago!

Overall Review: My previous graphics cards (Arez Strix Vega 56, Strix RX 480/580 OC) are still being used in my household, and still play most titles very well. AMD finally seems to have an architecture that they can scale well. The performance uplift is much more eye-popping than it was going from the 580 to the Vega. I just recently sold a R9 380(XFX) and I still have a R9 290(ASUS). I fully expect to have this card as long as I have had the 290 (2014). I would definitely recommend this card over the RTX competition. More performance for the money, AMD chips are generally supported much longer, and in my option, the picture quality has been noticeably better going back to ATI days. Pros: UPDATE: All drivers are available on ASUS support website - NOT ROG WEBSITE. Ryan is incorrect. This includes 2 newer bios than is on the board. I updated drivers, the bios, and some of the bundled programs on day one! Layout is good. Lots of features. Good placement of fan headers.

Cons: - Memory support is disappointing. Although, hardly limited to Asus or this board currently. My Corsair LED pc3200 will not go faster than 2933. - Should have included I/O RGB shroud like the ROG X370 STRIX GAMING - see below

Overall Review: Here's the problem. This board is aimed at pc builders who want a little "bling" in their system, and as in the name, GAMERS. Well, what is the most common addition to a system for gamers? A discrete GPU! (stay with me) Most discrete GPUs that would be used by a person to which this board is aimed at will be what? Duel slotted! Now the only bit of "bling" that comes standard on this board is the light strip built into the heat sink for the chipset located in the same area for most motherboards for the last 20 years. You see where we are going don't you? Right behind the previously mentioned DUEL SLOTTED GPU! YOU CAN'T SEE IT! Oh, you can catch a hint of a faint glow now and then of the light bouncing off of the GPU. Pretty Freak'n Useless! Asus, quit being so cheap! Put the I/O shroud on both models! It's not worth 50 bucks! SLI, USB and Serial ATA connectivity, beefier phase power, that's your 50 bucks, not the freak'n shroud! I left it at 4 eggs though. The light on the board was not my primary concern and ASUS has been my most trusted board maker for the last decade. P.S. ASUS - fix the memory compatibility issues please!
