Nice Little CPU
Pros: - Runs many current games (with fast RAM) on low/medium settings - Cooler wasn't too bad to install
Cons: - Nothing yet, support for these processors is getting better with time.
Overall Review: I play EVE Online, FFXI and Pubg (plus a number of other random games). Everything runs with low or medium settings with playable frame rates. I bought this processor to be used on a smaller resolution monitor, so it serves the purpose very well. I am very happy with this processor, and would recommend. Software was the only limitation with getting a stable overall build, and I got everything working within a day.
Fast and Stable
Pros: Runs at advertised speeds with no problems at all.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Running these with an AMD 2200G and Asrock AB350 Fatality Mini ITX, and everything has been running stable. Great product!
Great Board for my 2200G
Pros: - Came with 4.40 bios, supporting my 2200G out of the box. - Great layout - Wifi works very well - Lots of bios options, great software. -
Cons: - None I can think of yet
Overall Review: - Road to stability was a little bumpy, but there were layers of issues needing to be fixed due to the new Ravenridge platform (was not the fault of the motherboard alone, 1709 windows, chipset drivers, etc). Running 4.51 beta bios with success. Had to manually set the RAM speed, but that took 2 seconds. After following some direction from guides made during the launch of 2200G processors, all is well now.
It is what it is
Pros: Fast, even after all the updates. Seems slow sometimes but it's usually because you haven't touched what you want to select long enough. Office integration is excellent for my needs (reports on Word, spreadsheets and some powerpoints). Nowadays the app selection is not too bad. I'm not an app heavy user, so my input is limited. Keyboard is AWESOME! Organizing files on the desktop is a major plus for me! Has a USB port (yay for flashdrives!!) Been using Bluetooth mouse and included keyboard, amazing!
Cons: This is Windows 8.1 (after updates) RT. If you don't know what that means, look it up and read about it. 5 mins. of research will answer most of your questions. Desktop can be used for office/outlook only. Thats it! Lack of stand positions makes it awkward to work with when not using a desk. It's small, so be prepared to work a little cramped on large office applications. Gaming selection is small, definitely not a gaming tablet.
Overall Review: This tablet is great (especially at this price) for a normal user who prefers a Windows experience over android/apple. I can see power users feeling a bit robbed at RT's lack of x86 program functionality. If you use this tablet for mild entertainment/work and school functions, you'll be pleased. Do not expect this to be a laptop replacement, the desktop use is extremely limited. I needed videos/office and web browsing, so all my needs are more than met. If you need something beyond that, consider looking elsewhere (surface pro?)
Great Budget Gamer!!
Pros: Handles every game I throw at it! Including Guild Wars 2 on High, Mass Effect Trilogy, Planetside, CODBO, Battlefield 3, all Crysis games... loving it!
Cons: No OC'ability, but hasn't been needed so far. Stock cooler works fine, but is really for low sound, not low temps. Will eventually upgrade to proper cooling solution.
Overall Review: I game primarily, so encoding/graphical applications aren't taken into consideration. I3 3220 GTX 460 8 gig G.Skill DDR3 1600 ASRock B75M-DGS Other stuff irrelevant. If your looking to play todays games on a budget, with a proper graphics card, this processor does the trick! Highly recommended!
