Awesome performance
Overall Review: Another quality MSI product. Installed easily into an Enermax case and MSI X570 motherboard. Fans are pretty quiet but can be heard. Cannot tell any difference between using HDMI or Displayport, performance seems the same and G-Sync works through either. Easily runs Doom Eternal at Ultra (highest) settings 2560x1440 at 165FPS/Hz. Generally maintains that framerate unless making a quick turn and the framerates drop a little which I think any card would. Gameplay is extremely enjoyable.
Just popped - 2 1/2 months old
Pros: Worked good for 2.5 months Didn't blow up the rest of my brand new computer when it popped 10 year warranty
Cons: Popped after 2.5 months Very hard thump through audio speakers powering on/off APPARENTLY YOU WILL NEED THE WARRANTY
Overall Review: Installed in my new media PC in 8/2020, which is a low power requirement PC, and has been working good for 2.5 months. A few minutes ago I heard a pop, and my PC powered off. Having some experience I deemed it was the PSU, and took a installing another PSU. Fortunately it did not take out any of my computer components that I can tell at this point. So that is something good I can say for it. Computer is ASRock B550, AMD 3600, Asus GT 1030 (35 watt),. G Skill Ripjaw, Silicon Power NVMe & 1 SSD, Hauppage WinTV 1265, CoolMaster HAF EVO, all purchased new at the same time as the power supply. I will never buy a Thermaltake again. I'vea had Antecs, EVGAs, NZXTs and they've lasted for years and years (10+ years). I will warranty this PSU, but I'm a little leary of even using it should next it pops it takes out other components. Extremely dissappointed.
Just what I needed
Pros: Easy installation and configuration Software suite Switches channels fast
Overall Review: Using in a media PC (AMD Ryzen 3600/AS Rock mobo, GSkill DDR4 3600 memory, Asus Geforce 1030) for air antenna HDTV reception. Replaced an aging media PC which had an old ATI HD Wonder Tuner, which worked well enough but no longer supported in Windows 10. Glad to have found and tried the Hauppauge card, as it works well and is easy to use. Some HD tuners in the past have had extremely slow channel switching. This isn't an issue with this card, it's reasonably quick flipping through the channels, even using an air antenna. As of the time of this writing, the card has a couple years in constant use (at least, the computer is always on) and it still works brilliantly. I don't use the remote, although I did test to ensure it works. I cannot attest to how well the remote would hold up over time (seems fine, just not used in my case).
Everything it claims to be
Pros: Easy to use menu Easy to use power/volume/menu hat switch Awesome for gaming Fine for productivity Price fair for everything you get G-Sync works through both inputs Works at 165Hz Adjustable stand
Overall Review: I have owned many LG products through the years and have always had good experiences. This might reach new heights. Although not advertised as so, this part of LG's "Ultragear" line. And it is Ultragear! It is a gaming monitor, which means it's not designed for productivity. USB ports aren't easy to access, that I can tell only through the back I/O panel. Theres 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport input. But those are very minor issues and can be solved with a cable or KVM switch. With it's IPS screen, the screen is just fine for productivity. It's clear, easy on the eyes for all day work. I've been using this for a few days now and so far no stuck or dead pixels that I'm aware of. Awesome monitor.
Only converts Displayport to HDMI, not HDMI to Displayport
Overall Review: It's a good product and states in the product listing that this can only convert Displayport to HDMI. In my haste for a quick solution, I didn't read the specifications thouroughly and just assumed it could work both ways. I won't knock the product for my mistake, but maybe this review will help keep someone else from making the same mistake.
64-bit goodness
Pros: Includes a physical disk Enables > 4gb usable system memory
Cons: Key font is tiny and difficult to read (especially with scratch off area) Does not optimize for solid state drives automatically
Overall Review: Boots in 5 seconds with an AMD Ryzen and NVMe drive. Users with solid state drives may research best practices to optimizing WIndows settings for best wear and performance with SSDs. Windows defaults are primarily optimized for HDDs.
