I'm a BIG Cooler Master Fan
Pros: CM Seidon 120 XL Great Cooling Performance Similar to Corsair's H80i which replaced it. Lovin the rubber pads that come with the kit and the mounting screws for the fans are thread limited so you can't over tighten things down. VERY BIG +. compared to other manufactures. Keeps my 3820 i7 OC @ 4.8 less that 80C when pushed hard on Prime 95. I like the nice smoked blue led. Matches my other blue led fans in the Cooler Master 922 case.
Cons: 1 little con the pump sometimes makes ticking noises but it's minor. You won't notice it if your gaming and the fans spin up but on idle you will.
Overall Review: I could of gotten the Seidon 240M but I wanted something similar to my H80i that I had before. H80i's pump led went out on me and one thread for the fan mount to the radiator stripped. RMA'd still waiting to hear back from Corsair. No regrets in buying this product the PRICE was just right too Competitive compared to other closed loop water coolers. I think this was the best bang for the buck compared to the H80i I bought previously. Cooler Master doesn't disappoint once again.
Died slowly
Pros: Works great when it does.
Cons: Died slowly. It looses power and I would have to power cycle my computer to get the card reader to work. Built a new computer and tried to move the this card reader in to that computer and it did not power up anymore. I even let my buddy tried to hook it up to his rig to see if it powered up and it didn't. I believe it just slowly died over time owning it for 2 years.
Overall Review: Went to best buy and bought their Dynex brand card reader for 7 bucks. Cheap and worked right when I booted up my rig.
A Speedy 2in1 from HP
Pros: -Features the latest Ryzen 7 mobile 4700U CPU. It's FAST! Better than most Intel CPUs at this price point in the 2in1 category of laptops. -Ultra light but the chassis is aluminum so it's not super light but way lighter than an old gaming laptop -2in1 feature is nice with touch screen for watching content -I does stream HDR content, but that's all -Keyboard feels great with number pad on the right which most laptops in the category don't have. Back-lit Keyboard is great but only has two light settings high and low. -Battery life is pretty good. I can run almost an entire day with light use. -The screen is pretty clear for a 1080P display -Fingerprint reader works well for swift login.
Cons: -Currently, standby mode seems to only turn off the display and keyboard lighting. The fans keep spinning. It's as if only the display went to sleep. I would prefer the system to turn off as well, but maybe this is by design? 11/3/2020 Update: This issue has been resolved with BIOS update that automatically came down via Windows Updates. -The AMD Ryzen and Radeon stickers are slightly crooked.. -LCD could be brighter but since this is in the budget category brightest is 250 nits. -Fans do spin up when system gets hot, you can definitely hear them working, but this isn't a really a con since you can adjust profiles for performance/cooling/fan noise.
Overall Review: Latest 4th Gen Ryzen 7 CPU. No 4800U CPUs in laptops on the market at this time, but this 4700U is quite fast. It's amazing how far AMD has came in the recent years. I wanted something that was in the 1k price range but best performing CPU with 16GB of ram for future proofing that was also an ultra-light. The 2in1 was a plus. I did discover after purchasing the laptop RAM can be upgraded on this model according to Crucial's website. This model gives you 16 GB DDR4 2666 ram; it can support 3200 as well. If you don't mind waiting you could possibly customize one from HP with the better display. Happy shopping!
Easy setup and use!
Pros: -Plenty of storage space -USB 3.0 only interface -Stylish vertical case like WD has always been doing to save desk space. -Does have a light for activity
Cons: -It does make a sharp seeking noise, but not enough to annoy you. It isn't completely silent or a soft seeking noise.
Overall Review: Best price and deal I could find for amount of space/price compared to other retailers.
Pretty good for a budget gaming Monitor!
Pros: -Shipping from Newegg was fast! -Monitor QC was pretty good out the box! Even give you a nice screwdriver tool to mount the screws for the stand. -Stand is okay for the monitor at this price point, stand has a compass to assist with angling the monitor straight. The stand does allow for 3 way adjustment. -165 Hz when running with the included cable or a quality cable works well! -No dead pixels to report. -Having the close to bezel less frame is clean look. -Colors are really good for a monitor at this price point.
Cons: -The bottom right does get pretty warm-hot to touch when trying to use the D-Pad stick in the back to access the monitor menus. -HDR feature brightens up the whole entire screen, it kind of makes videos look better in some ways and someways not.. there's no dimming so it's not real HDR compared to a TV. -As others have said the Audio out isn't that good.
Overall Review: -If you're looking for a budget gaming monitor with really good Full-RGB color and 10-bit support this is it! -I would purchase from this brand again if they continue to push out products that exceed well quality, I was bit skeptical at first since I've never heard of Pixio before. -Monitor casing does feel on the cheaper side even the rear i/O. I've always purchased Samsung displays. -I was on the verge of this of the LG 27GL850 which is a highly rated monitor by others and Youtubers, but the LG was out of stock at the time of purchase.
Great Mobo for HTPC or entry desktop build!
Pros: Pretty good looking motherboard! 4 ram slots for ram expansion. Came with the latest BIOS F.50 ver so it does come AMD 3000 Ready without needing a BIOS update. Took my AMD 3200G APU with no issues! Was compatible with Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 CT2K4G4DFS632A, posted fine with no issues!
Cons: At default settings my 3200G would not hit 4.0Ghz Boost with the current F.50 ver. BIOS at this time.
Overall Review: I usually prefer ASUS mobo, but it seems Gigabyte has it better for being AMD 3000 Ready. I ended up having to just up the timing on the CPU to hit 4.0Ghz all the time in the BIOS so I could get 4.0Ghz all the time. It seems it is verified by many others even Youtubers that with these motherboards you might not be able to hit max boost with default settings. For the price I can't complain!
They're okay
Product was packaged well. Shipping took quite longer than the promised date., must have something to do with carrier transfers.
No Issues to report here!
Faster than expected shipping! Package arrived without damage! A++ seller!
It's Newegg c'mon!
