Will this product work in a playstation 4?

James, I have no experience whatsoever with the new PS4, but a quick Google reveals that the PS4 requires a laptop hard drive, not a 3.5", so I'd have to say based on that the WD2002FAEX would not be compatible due to its physical size.

What computers will this work with?

This should work on almost any modern desktop computer provided the computer has an open SATA slot on the motherboard.  The WD Black can also be used in a separate hard drive docking station, which usually nowadays connects to the desktop through USB 2.0/3.0 connection (other connections like firewire are fading).  Also, some computer cases carries an embedded docking hard drive .hot' slot(s).

The docking station should also let you connect the WD Black to a laptop with an open USB port.

There's also NAS (Network Attached Storage) but that's a whole other story.

What cords do I need for this hard drive?

if your installing in a computer you will need a power connector 6 pin or new 6 pin and a sata cable

Is this EXACTLY the drive on the picture...???? An not "something simular"

It is this one. Although I will say that I have purchased 2 of these hard drives and they both came broken. No that's a lie the first one came in perfectly fine condition and broke after 3 months. The second one that came however was broken out of the box. If you get one that's working I recommend this product.

My company has a ReadyNAS NV+ with two hard drives. One of the hard drives is failing. Is this HD compatible in a Raid configuration with one other HD?

My understanding for most NAS's is the only requirement is that they be the same size. Not allowed to include links, it seems, so search Google for a Synology forum thread on this subject, and one at hardforum as well.

The general conclusions are: For performance, best to use the same brand and model of hard drive; For reliability, best to use different brands; If you mix different sizes, your array can only be as large as the smallest disk. That's actual capacity, not declared. All 2 TB disks have the same declared capacity but the actual capacity varies slightly from one manufacturer to another. That difference, though, is probably minimal.

The last point applies to RAID 0, 1 and 5 but these days RAID 6 is recommended.
