Yes, they have standard black and red spring loaded buttons on the back.  You depress the button and insert the stripped wire end into the hole and release.  The tension keeps the wire in place.  These do not have the capability of using any wire end connectors like banana plugs.  FYI I mounted the brackets on the underside of my house roof line so they are protected from direct rain.  They have wing nut screws at each end to hold the speaker in the bracket.  I remove the speakers for the winter and screw the wing nuts into the speaker so I don't lose them.  In fact I just mounted them outside today for the summer.  I am pleased with the sound.  Do not expect strong bass as they are small speakers but I purchased an 8" Pioneer sub SW-8-K for about $80 on rare sale here or the SW-8MK2 newer version.  I have 4 of them in my home, Living room, Family room, office and on a rolling cart with Yamaha 5.1 receiver for outdoor listening. Champagne taste and a beer budget.  I REALLY like the Pioneer subs and it fills out the missing bass where the BIC are light.  Hope this helps.
