Decent Processor - if you can get it at the right price
Pros: - More than enough power for about 95% of modern games - Excellent stock cooler - Great for daily usage and multitasking
Cons: - Has rejected me twice - Forces me to have a seperate heater unlike my previous Intel computer
Overall Review: If it's below $100, there's not much better outside of going for a used part. However, at MSRP it's really hard to recommend. That being said it's got plenty of power for modern games. Not got a great personality, though.
Its fine
Pros: - High efficiency and wattage for the price - Quiet enough
Cons: - Cables are short for my liking and look ugly
Overall Review: If its on sale this could be a consideration. It has been reliable and serves its purpose well but the cables could be a dealbreaker.
Good RAM at a great price
Pros: - Nice and fast for DDR4 - No issues running XMP - No clearance issues with air coolers
Cons: - Gets toasty
Overall Review: If you want a nice 32 GB kit of RAM, I think this is what I would recommend. It has served me well.
It's fine
Pros: - Great value for the money
Cons: - A bit slow
Overall Review: As the only drive in a system (how I'm using it) I would say that this is perfectly adequate and nothing more. Boots into PopOS in about 30 seconds and the system experience is snappy enough. It would make a great drive for games or media, but for your OS it's not the best.
Excellent card for under $300
Pros: - Good for maxed out settings at 1080p 60 fps - Silent fan mode keeps it quiet during less demanding use - Decent enough temperatures stock
Cons: - Fan can be a bit loud in demanding games
Overall Review: Great value for under $275. 8 GB of VRAM may be a bit low in future but if you're running at 1080p it should be fine. With an undervolt and an overclock, this card can get some serious performance at seriously great temperatures.
