Great Card
Pros: I have a 300W power supply, and this card doesn't shut it down, heck it even runs with it and turns on! DOES PASS AUDIO Trough HDMI. Overclocked High, GDDR5 is great!
Cons: NONE!
Overall Review: Download EVGA Precision, you wont regret it, tweak it around. I overclocked this card to Core Clock 675mhz, Shader Clock 1643mhz, and memory clock to 2225mhz on stock cooler. Of-course I set the fan speed to 100% AND To the guy who says this doesn't pass audio, YOU ARE WRONG IT DOES PASS AUDIO TROUGH HDMI! However it doesn't have an internal S/PDIF header, but you can clearly see that in the images. BTW @ my overclock speeds it's just as fast if not faster than my 9800GT. However with these clocks the MAXIMUM The temperature that the GPU can rise to, is 160*F(~70*C) with an artifact scanner (in 80*F temperature). But It averages around 130*F - 150*F on regular 3D gaming, the most intensive 3D gaming is up to 145*F - 150*F, and regular 3D gaming is about 130*F - 140*F. Remember these are OVERCLOCKED Temperatures, with the fan @ 100%. To much heat might even degrade performance and the purpose of overclocking might be defeated, So if you want to overclock BUY a better heatsink!
Bath Scale
Pros: It's cheap(price), big size of digits.
Cons: It's +/-(Plus or Minus) of MAX - 5 pounds. That is my opinion, as 5 is the maximum it has been off before reaching it's Maximum weight of 330lbs. Id say the average is +/- 2lbs. The pad were you put your feet is about 10 Inches.
Overall Review: Theirs no calibration knob so you cant adjust it to make it correct. I put a 10lb dumbbell and it read it as nine, and it read a 25lb pound dumbbell at 22lb. I believe it maxes out at 300lb. Id say get an analog bath scale. There reliable, and you can calibrate them.
Hardrive review
Pros: Great for the price. Work flawlessly.
Cons: Outdated.
Overall Review: Though it's outdated, I needed a hard-drive in a hurry and this saved the day!
Good PSU.
Pros: Ive owned a lot of power supplies over the years. And this is a good quality one, I must say. Been running for almost 5 moths now, and no hiccups.
Cons: no cons.
Overall Review: Thanks you, newegg.
A HUGE MAC ATTACK 2.0
Pros: After further review of it's internal components, and testing; I have determined that my first review was an error. The efficiency is about average 76%, reaching up to 85%, and as low 60%. Very silent thanks to 140mm fan. It has a blue LED. The max power output is technically 800W @ 77*F(COOLED) DON'T TRY THIS), I went higher but it shutdown, I did this test 7 times. I also tested the constant output by disabling the efficiency mechanisms, and I can in fact confirm that it is 600W constant. 578.37W to be exact. 72 AMP's spread out across '3' 12v rails.
Cons: NONE. Well except for my old equipment when I reviewed this power supply. I hope I didn't scare you of from buying this nice psu.
Overall Review: Please ignore my first review. 113% overload protection(OF WATTS). Did not test over voltage protection, or under voltage. Did not test humidity operation. Could not get a conclusive reading of the hold up time. I purchased 3 of these the, but I only reviewed and tested one initially. The other two reflect this correct review. Two power supplies were tested for this review. I guess I got one that was bad. I tested it at 77*F because that's it's max "OT", of course pulling 800W you will have a higher temperature, but I cooled it down so it stayed at 77*F. I'm not a fan of using the word "tested".
A HUGE MAC ATTACK
Pros: It worked. Cords are fairly long.
Cons: It's a 600W PSU, but don't even let that fool you. It's components inside as tested by me, can only (SAFELY)go up to 500W at 105-115*F(FULLY FUNCTIONAL). If you pull more watts than that, expect this baby to burn. If you pull constantly 500W, this will probably last you a good 1-2 Years or less, but if your very lucky don't expect to get passed that 3rd year. No wonder they have a 1 Year limited warranty.
Overall Review: There's are a lot of the same PSU out there, with a different case or sticker, but it's really just one PSU from some single vendor. Watch out for these PSU. Look for a company that almost only does power supplies or other electronic equipment. PSU = POWER SUPPLY UNIT. I knew what I was buying, so that's why I gave it 3eggs. This company makes good cases though. I am not a computer guy, but I am an electrician with 10years experience. Your average computer guy would know almost nothing about a PSU, they probably just read the sticker on the power supply.
