Worked great while it lasted, support process horrible

Pros: - Worked like a champ for about 2 months. - Beautifully design mobo layout - Simple to install
Cons: After 2 months it suddenly stopped working. Aura lights light up, but system wont turn on / POST. Q-LED indicators are all off. Verified CPU, memory and PSU are all functional on a spare system I had. Opened an RMA case with ASUS and things quickly went off the rails. First support person I called said they would send me a replacement mobo, once recieved I had 14 days to send mine back. Ok cool... I waited a few days and checked the RMA status. It said they were waiting on me to send mine in first? What??? So I called again, this time they tell me the first person got it wrong and that is only for advanced replacment otherwise I have to wait to send mine in, for them to recieve it and evaluate the isssue and then they may repair it or send me a refurb after that. This is my main PC so waiting that long is a no go. So the support person helps me setup an advanced replacement where they will send me a refurb but in order to do so they need to put a hold on my credit card. I can understand that and agree, then they check inventory and realize they dont have any refurbs to send me! I ask them why they dont just send me a new one, but the support person said they cant do that, they can only use inventory in the support warehouse. So now I have to wait for a busted mobo to get fixed, put on the shelf as a refurb and then get it sent to me? Come on ASUS I expect better. Ive always been loyal to your brand but man this is really making me rethink what vendors I want to trust!
Overall Review: TUF brand is supposed to be superior components, but failing after 2 months doesnt build confidence in that. RMA process needs a revamp, I shelled out a lot of money for this board, the least you can do is get me a working one again ASAP.
